@mrFAFO91 The dildos my friend, are some divices that the lonely women use when they're bored and looking for sexual pleasure, i think you ment Dido who is a English pop singer that made the song Stan with Eminem in 2000 for the album The Marshall Mathers Lp :)
@Dbkit I'm thoroughly surprised that no one respects the rap part of this song. It's lyrically genius. It's double meaning and flawless execution is great. It makes me feel so peaceful... I don't know who you are, but I'm damn sho' you don't get the song, but Imma make peace. Cool... white flag, white flag.
@Dbkit, I agree this song is beautiful. I'm not too fond of rap either, but if you hear what he's actually talking about, it makes it that much better. It's a peaceful song and I think the rap compliments it well.
@oilmeupbro I thought everyone who put random comments on videos were some stupid douche bags, But due to your name and your comment, You have enlightened my views entirely... I love you..
yea, sue me for making a grammar error then. It's not like I don't know how to speak english. I'm on the verge of deleting my comment just because of all these replies. Ok, you got me, english isn't my native language.
you idiots know what he means, its a mistake that even english speakers know. your the kind of people that hold societies back from progressing further.

Thank you... I'm not American or English, but I think of myself as a fluent speaker although I make these small mistakes every once in a while. It's natural. And by the way, I'm not a 'he' :)
I think this track just extends the idea that the Gorillaz are so diverse in which Genres they cover. Hell, this is one of those genre-defying songs. It's not amazing, but it's a good addition to the album.
I like the whole song. The first part gives a bit of an intro, since this is still the 3rd song on the cd. They rap part is what I like to term as the "end of the intro, beginning of the end."
@Dbkit youre definently not thinking outside the box enough. This album incorporates so many different genres into one and it all somehow works with a distinct sound. That is very hard to do. this is one of the greatest albums! besides, whats wrong with hip hop, so many people misunderstand it
I actually think this is the last combination of genres I of music I would expect to be united, but somehow I think it's BRILLIANT! And the lyrics are very cool
@rockkoetjeTV en dan kan een nummer niet een hoog efteling gehalte hebben? moeten alle nummers met een efteling gehalte uit nederland komen? Je logica klopt niet helemaal ;)
i didn't like the plastic album when i first heard it (and there are still some songs i don't like on it) but i just listened to this song and i decided that the gorillaz (and rap) wasn't dead.
The Gorillaz have always been a changing group. Demon Days didn't come out like their debut did, and Plastic Beach didn't come out like Demon Days. In addition, they had DJ Danger Mouse working with for Demon Days. Now that he's out, the sound has to change, eh?
Lebanese music by the way, Lebanese orchestra in Lebanon ! Not egyptian or Turkish but it's perfectly normal people think that because middle eastern music or oriental music is all similar morroco to iran, many of the same scales are used in music. Arabic scales you may call them
i remember seeing them in Austin... some guy took the white flag off the stage and ran around with it until he was asked to give it back :) gotta love texas!
I don't really like this album to much, the older gorillaz albums where fucking amazing. Most of the stuff on this album is to......generic. Where's the originality? Alas, I give it a thumbs up for riving the band and having a couple decent songs. Woohoo!
@GuzzyVision it's sampled from the Lebanese National Orchestra. You can find a few of their recordings on youtube, but I don't know which one is the sample
@alollisa They were made because they or he thought that people made too big of a deal of the singer, not the music. In my opinion I think it's ah-mazing AND I love Noodle(: Cool back stories, you should look it up(:
Most of the songs on Plastic Beach are fantastic, but this song sucks big hairy ballsack. Classical + rap? Gimme a break. I like neither very much, and together, they're that much worse.
Gorillaz are awesome! their music is always great and this track is superb! lovin the mix of Oriental orchestra and the grittiness of UK Grime! Lovin this Shit!!!!!!
This song has happier lyrics than most of Gorillaz songs.
