  • Hello everyone thanks for taking the time to look at my post. I started making soap when i was 16 and now 18 having a small business with my mother. I suffered through acne when i was younger which is why i began to make my own soap knowing all natural is better. We are not out to make a huge profit so there is no expense spared when making our soaps. Please visit our site, farmfreshhope thank you have a good day!

  • I really enjoy your soaps, and becuase of your videos I have used goats milk to make soap with and I really enjoy it. Recently after seeing this video I was introduced to Soap Nuts and they do a great job at getting clothes clean.

  • i've always wanted to create a organic skincare line of soaps, washes, candles but it seems like such hard work plus all the competition out there..i dont think i'd ever be able to do it!

  • How can I add lather to my soap, it came out good but not enough lather.

  • You're so amazing! I love the philosophy of your soap making. We should call you Sensei. :-)

  • @cloudberry121

that is the nicest thing to say. thanks

  • Aww, that is so cool. I'm getting into making soap, but so do not want to use lye. I think organic is the way to go.

  • ive got really bad acne, whats the best soap ya've got for acne?

  • @PineGroveBird

I would try the Lime in the Coconut, Bergamot and Lime, Rosemary's Freckles, Lavender Love, Lavender Tea Tree, Pink Grapefruit. I can put together a 7 sampler set for you with this grouping. I hope you give it a try. My ingredients are put together with healthy skin in mind. Most people have skin issues to deal with. Drink plenty of water, keep a healthy kidney & liver, exercise, smile, laugh, cry and play! Skin glows from the inside out!

  • Hi Mickey

Where do you get your molds from? Nice Vid

  • @zsjourney1

Some of my molds are Milky Way molds, others I just searched for molds and found lots of sites.

  • @HandmadeSoaps Its good to see an actual person using the milkyway molds, I just ordered a bunch now I can get a feel of how they may come out, you are very neat and organized, I am using my kitchen right now, but my Aunt is going to let me use her basement because I don't have enough room to do everything I want to do.

  • Can you use the Goats Milk that they sell in a can at the supermarket?

I want to try it but live in the NYC.

  • @26aowens

    Yes you can.

  • @HandmadeSoaps

    OK THANKS!

    :)

  • i tried tis but it tuned out to be brown

  • Thanks for sharing the video with us. I have a question where do you buy the soap molds and the glycerine? I need a new hobby that I can try since ceramics was getting so hard on my back. Also the kiln was throwing the breakers. I want to try to make some organic soaps but I am real confused on the process. Any help from anyone would be appreciated. Thanks Natalie & Mark

  • Just google! That is what I tell everyone! Google can find you anything. There are so many places to find molds and base.

  • i really enjoyed this video!

  • wow! awesome first video! I have people favorited that have been doing videos for a while that constantly say "um" over and over. You have a great speaking voice and were clear and concise. Keep it up!

  • I love watching this video over and over again...

  • right! i find myself watching soap reviews and soap making videos for like a couple of hours!

  • So you just cut these into bars of soap, is that why there are lines in it from the mold?.

  • Yes, right now that is the kind of mold I use.

  • Hi Mickey,

I just started selling my own vegetable soap in alberta canada. I can across your video and you make lovely soaps, just wondering if you had any tips for me? I am not sure how to get my name out there? if you dont mind me asking how did you get your soap in stores?

    Thanks So Much,

    Tanya

  • Just went to them, asked to speak to the buyer of the soap and bodycare products and the other thing I did was to buy the youtube marketing course from themethodreports09 on youtube. Tell him Mickey sent you. He helped me increase my customer base in less than a month. Now I have had over 20,000 visitors to my videos and over 3000 new visitors to my website. Not expensive! The best thing I ever did. You would not have found me if I hadn't found Robert Bankston!

  • Awesome!!

  • I love your videos so much,

  • Thank you! I need to here that. I am new at this and need the feedback.

  • It is quite alot of work that goes into each artisan bar. Thanks for the respect! Hope I improve with each video!

    Best!

    Mickey

  • I wish I had a room to do my soaps and candles.
