  • Yeah that was really an 'attack', just a protest.

  • in how there country is being run . then Thay should put there guns away and start protesting for lower wages and higher taxes.

    maby they'll get the hint.

  • the cops need to be reminded that now is the opportunity to get your freedom. tell them if Thay are ok with being over taxed and having no say

  • scum absolute scum

  • Shouldn't this be renamed 'Protestors make noise inside F & M'? The staff at the counter are loving it! If this is an attack, what do you call what we did to Iraq?

  • Can I just say... Cameron, if you take away our right to protest peacefully, do you know what word is going to be dropped?

    ...Peacefully.

  • @2608513 You will give a fuck when i kick the shit out of you and have you arrested!

  • @2608513 It is that kind of attitude that makes my job very hard. Yes i am a policeman

  • I had a nice chat with a member of staff whom I thought to be Spanish but whom turned out to be Portuguese. He said that Portugal is a beautiful country and I said that I might visit it one day. The interesting thing is, I had nothing on me to mark me as a demonstrator; I could just as easily been a customer in the eyes of the crowd. So you see if customers had felt at risk, so would I have done. But I didn't because I could see that the demonstration was non-violent.

  • Why not wreck the place? Anarchists indeed

  • Wow, what a brutal "attack"...

  • Feels good to be part of an intimidating group doesn't it? I was one of the tourists in there at the time and I saw a man trying to shield his baby as he tried to get out the door and an elderly woman outside who looked fit to drop. But at least you get your smiley face on camera and a vid on youtube. Job done. As for Eton, I bet none of us could pin it on a map, let alone go back there. Wrong targets.

  • @Limatoo That could happen in any crowded shopping centre.

  • Was the shutter lowered while people were still in the store? Is it a designated Fire Exit? If so, have the Company/Police acted lawfully?

  • Even the staff were smiling :-)

The "attack" produced smiles and laughs from you and your staff :-)

  • I just noticed something too which is the fact that when I arrived there no police were blocking the door I went through. The customers were still shopping as your video shows ;-)

  • "Attack" ???

I fail to see any video which shows any attack including this one and my video.

  • @Tzimnewman3 Yes, the uploader of this video has decided to use a misleading and incorrect title, probably to get more views. The shop was peacefully occupied by direct action and not attacked in any way, as the video clearly shows.

  • this action is outragous , the police shoukd stand aside and let the military take over and they should just blast them all to another world, we dont need or want this kind of behaviour in london......bring back mrs thatcher !!!

  • @fishermead - Idiot.

  • actions like this are just ridiculous and ill thought out .. for a start fortnum and masons is the third biggest benevolent trust in this country ....

  • @BullFighter2007 How is a company ripping anybody off? They can close up and go away, then all the tax it generates for your pathetic welfare state will be more in the hole. They owe you nothing. It seems you just need a job.

  • @BeeRich33 I would definitely rip you off if i had the chance. As it stands i can't, so i'll have to suffice with winding your kind up by being "uneducated", running off to our "pathetic welfare state" when afflicted and not having a job. Oh how carrying the burden of the proletariat must wear the lapels of your dinner jacket.

  • @tenaciouscraig of course you would. You ripped F&M off, and you line up for free handouts that you whine about being inadequate in the first place. Why would I expect anything less? Your version would be illegal. F&M's is not. You just don't know the difference.

  • @BeeRich33 I don't even care what you think, you pay for my hospital care. Which i found to be very adequate btw; a setup i'll be happy to allow to continue. Now, back to making innuendo's about pork, you gimp.

  • @tenaciouscraig You moron. I don't pay for anything you do. Now go play in the traffic, you wobbly toothed Limey freak. Healthcare doesn't cover AIDS.

  • @BeeRich33 Nice retort

  • @tenaciouscraig Sorry, I don't bake.

  • @BullFighter2007 What is obvious is your lack of education. This company earns more tax for your country than you will ever earn for yourself. You should be thankful it's there and that it's doing business. This company owes you nothing. If they can legally avoid tax, then anybody in their right mind would do that.

  • @2608513 Oh you're sick? Then run off to a tax-run hospital and demand someone with an actual education give you something for that poor illness you have. In the meantime, get a job.

    Idiot.

  • @BullFighter2007 fortnum and mason dosn't actually. they give more money to causes in the UK than any other food retailing family, and pay their taxes. It was ill thought out. whoever chose it, chose the wrong store.

  • I saw some of my friends in this and no they are not the protesters they are F&M staff, the people staging the protest should be ashamed of themselves for targeting this shop. I do not believe their claims that this company is avoiding tax I am more likely to believe the protesters are workshy benefit claimants and aggressive criminals.
