Although ive only played monster hunter tri on the wii i prefer the portable versions ( i have unite). But the only downside with the portable is there isent an online feature like tri but instead adhoc which is for local online paly :(

I've heard rumors that they might give more details (in then ext few months) if they'll release this game in North America, and I'm waiting on the PSP2 just for the second analog stick. I'm not too keen on using the 'claw' technique for the camera control.

Aoashira isn't the replacement for Great Jaggi, Since Great Jaggi is still in the game. Aoashira replaces Yian Kutku. :D

Well barrage shots are much better for big, slow moving monsters or if you have a good accuracy skills while charged shots are better for the nimble monsters or if you think you're not that good at accuracy but either way, each shot strategy depends on the situation you are in :)

1.Just change the region of your PSP Menu(english, japanese, etc.)

2.He could have easily used the PSP RCA cables and not use an emulator.(not 100% sure though)

Hey Shepard just thought i might say this the japanese translation to english i suppose you could callit isn't actually called Katakana it's Romaji. Katakana is another set of symbols based on the Chinese Characters and Hiragana is the Japanese Characters

You can actually stun with the bow an arrows now Mr. Sheperd! Charge it up to its highest charge lvl, then aim with the R button. Then while holding the /\ button (which holds the charge) press the () button and you will fire arrows straight into the air that come down as pellets that do a really good amount of damage. Perfect for making those monsters tired or if you aim well enough you can knock em out cold! Happy hunting!

@jayster141 I've been playing around with this attack. What do you think does more damage, normal lvl 3 or 4 shots optimally hitting the weak spot, or this barrage shot? I imagine the barrage shot, but it's hard to say!

@SocialDissonance Wow that's a really good question.......I well, the barrage shots would do more damage. But if you have a lvl 3 shot with no charge, which allows multiple shots than that would be better. Nope, barrage shots all the way, plus you tire the monster at the same time :D
