Have seen all 3 akko shows, in my opinion the 60's-70's akko was the best then its this one and then the 90's akko.

Well, I didnt see all the episodes of the 60's-70's akko show. So i dont know. But the episodes I saw were very good. It was a groundbreaking anime. It helped launch the "Magic girl" genre.

Himitsu no Akko-chan 2 aired in 1988 wich is a remake of Himitsu no Akko-chan aired in 1969 and there's also another Himitsu no Akko-chan aired in 1998.

It should be noted that this is the 1988 remake of Akko-chan (a/k/a "Caroline" in French and "Un mondo di magia" in Italy). The Akko-chan theme song here is sung by Mitsuko Horie who also played Akko-chan in this series.
