in the Midwest/Mid-South USA, rave scene was KICKIN HARRRRD from 1993 til 97! There was an entire movement, a huge connected web of different scenes!! We in Oklahoma traveled south to Dallas in 91 and 92, and north to kansas City in the same era, getting inspired!! Our OK scene started heavy in 92/93, and lasted many years! We knew the scene had started earlier in the UK, but we proceeded to make OUR OWN happenings and our own vibe!! Props to all who were in the house!
