hey man should i just buy the i5 750 right now or wait for the sandy bridge chips? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Oh and i currently have a pentium e5200, so should i wait or just buy now???
Well depends if you need the perofrmance boost right now then go for it, but if you can wait then defo wait cuz even if u dont get the sandbridge cpus u can buy i7 cuz it will be cheaper.
AMD is great, ohh yhhh, both companies are good in there own ways, but AMD has gone down hill, i remember the days wen AMD was supreme no matter what,
@frahaan they will retry to get there crown back whit bulldozer and bobcat. and idk watt intel will release to counter there new architecture sandy bridge is to take the midrange pc's because it wil be i5+ gpu and amd has phenom+gpu by than so idk who will win in 2011
Well the way things are AMD is hard pushed to win, cuz even core i7 now will be amazing next year against whatever AMD brings out unless it is something wid a new architecture which they probs will not, but I think AMD will make a big come back, they did it with GPUs with the 4xxx range and 5xxx range so they will wid CPUs, but the question is when.
That's probably the main reason, the second is probably that coders feel that they are not getting paid enough to do something like machine code and their probably right, I have heard left and right that coders and graphics designers are leaving big companies because the are fed up with not getting paid enough or getting enough credit, I'm sure there are other reasons.
yh also and some coders aren't worried about the money and more about the job therefore they underpay the ones that do want more money and at the end of the day, there might be loads of demand but there is way more programmers out there wanting a job, so they can get away with almost slave labor especially when the product is about to be released
Do you know that Crysis in theory could be played on a single core maxed out if the game was written in machine code because machine code executes faster but is much harder to write so therefore programmers go for the easy option of writing it in high level languages such as C++ and there fore needing multi core cpus, if you want a more indepth talk about this I can create a video or you can join my live stream next Monday at 11pm uk time and you can find the link on my channel
Well wen CPUs become light based and not electricity based they will be mega fast even single cores, but they are only testing them and experimenting so it isn't something which will come out in a year or so.
tbh, i would not follow you if you offered me an ipad strait up.

That's pretty crazy, I wonder if they will ever just come out with just a new kind of core and not just keep adding core after core.
