My late fathers story: when he was 2 years old his father died in the 1918 flu pandemic. His dad was only 27 years old. His family: mother, 4 year old sister and himself were plunged into poverty after losing his dad ( the bread winner). They were taken in by sympathetic relatives. Then he faced the great depression. He had to start working at 12 years old at a fruit market. Then came WW2...he was drafted, wounded and was a disabled vet. People today have no concept of "the WW2 generation"
All these liberal losers at capitalism want to do is prop up the notion that today's recession is like the Great Depression so it will support the illegal President they call Obama to implement Marxism in this country.
Don't participate in their game. Tell them to go to hell for contributing to the down fall of the greatest nation God gave man.
Times are so hard I use the New York Times to wipe my ass after I take a shit. Actually it is more useful as toilet paper than a newspaper with its agenda.
Not too oddly, the introduction for this video createdin my mind, a montage of what the '80s were like here in the U.S.A. If you're old enough, think back....

I already asked my grandmother, then she slapped me across the face and called me a spineless pussy for belittling the events of the depression era.
