I have to say the bumper is nothing more than dress up for the phone and some say its a conspiracy. anyway i know someone that dropped their i4 with a bumper on and nicked the lower rear right of his new i4. From what he told me he was walking on a gravel path...
acctually the point of the case is because of the reception failure of a phone steve jobs gave us. not to protect it.. thats a cover up so they can still make you pay for it and not have to give it away for free because they failed at this new wonderful design.
