While there are probably war crimes taking place in SL (as there are in every single war that has taken place throughout history). There is certainly no genocide taking place. There are moderate tamils, living and working in Sri Lanka and surely if there were trying to wipe out all tamils they would start with the ones closest to them.

Similarly, the Rajapakse Government used the LTTE as a pretext to do Genocide on the Tamil civilians.

It is so obvious that GOSL has been involved in acts of genocide and that it is systemic in the island. Ban of UN described the human tragedy suffered by the Tamils as the worst witnessed in any conflict anywhere in this world. HRC showed due process in Iraq and Kosovo. GOSL/LTTE War Crime allegations have to be investigated. Given the evidence, HRC has no option but to accede to an INDEPENDENT investigation. After 61 yrs of unrest it's clear - we need a two-state solution for peace-Kosovo.
