they tried this with me, both ways when I tried to sell my comics, and looking for housekeeping work. They do always say that they are out of te country, and thye ask for your info beforehand, any promise to wire money to your bank account. They get your info, then you never hear from them again...
I NEVER give my email out on Craigslists. WHy? To AVOID Scam. I POST my "short" resume to Craigslist under "Job Seeker" and wait for a phone call. I got way too many emails from job scammers and my email is not for job scams. Most job scammers don't call me . . .I'd get 50 email job scams a day, compared to 2 calls a week of job scams. 2 a week is a lot less than 50 a day!
I've literally just dealt with this situation, I sent the guy information and a resume back, his reply was, "Consider the job yours!"...keep in mind I still wanted more information, didnt sign or did anything, I emailed him back telling him I was leaving for another job and not interested and anything he sends to me will be returned to sender...I hope I don't need to get the FBI or something like that involved, I'm almost completely sure its a scam, I've been seeing more and more pop up!
