We cover both, the confusion seems to be coming from a slight difference of terms. For us, a "floater" is when you move your hand parallel with the poi head, pausing its rotation relative to the hand. A linear isolation is when your hand moves in a line perpendicular to the line the poi head moves in, and twice the distance of the poi head; like a stall (or zero point) that's pulled out in the same direction, rather than reversing direction.

I hope that clears up what we're talking about.
