  • I'm not gonna lie to you, there's nothin good about this stuff

  • by far the funniest scene in observe and report i laughed so hard when they just beat the shit out of those skateboarders

  • This song was the shit and hell yeah I heard it from Observe and Report!

  • Mine name's Dennis Shavante motherfacker

  • I'm not gonna lie to your Ronnie, they'res nothing good about this

  • @ThisIsRaynor Sometimes i drink from a volcano

  • This is the one I added. THANKS

  • reminds me of observe and report

  • Best soundtrack for a film!!!

  • Classic guitar riff. Says more in less words, than most of the crap dredged up by these "heroes" today

  • yeeah observe and report. sounds also like typical vietnam sound

  • Observe And Report thats what this song reminds me of

  • anyone know what this song is actually about. i wanna say drugs

  • Typical "I'm a youngman, like a good time and don't give a shit about anything" type a tune, I would think. Classic rock n' roll, stuff, Opposed to the "I'm a young man, my girfriend hates me, and my parents suck" stuff you get today with the whiners, going on now. "When, will it end?" "When will it end?"

  • this song makes me wanna beat up some skater kids in the mall parkning lot with my friend dennis

  • Everybody be respectful to ronnie...today's been tough on his spirit

  • rofl i read the comment and laughed so fucking hard

  • Nice

  • @3guyzandacamera I heard that guy Dennis was a badass outlaw from Mexico. Is he your partner in crime?

  • theres only one thing to say about this song BOOM

  • Awesome song

  • simplicity itself. That's the great thing about Garage Rock. High School bands can play this stuff. It's for everybody.

  • i was made aware of this song by observe and report and think it is amazing. the easy songs are sometimes the best . let's get chris moylls to play this on radio 1 , that would be great.

  • it's fucking stupid to have an elitist attitude about a song that came out in 1966 just because you were there for it. if you love this music you should be happy that its getting mainstream exposure in a hollywood movie so that younger people can learn to appreciate it too. jesus, do you love yourself or the music more, i can't tell.

  • this is a song to beat up skaters to ;D

  • observe and report!

  • Boom.

  • FORZA MI6

  • God when i hear music like this i know i was born too late!!!!!!! Music back then spoke to you unlike now..........

  • Naaah your wrong man!!!!!! Music today is shit and id say about half of the worlds population would agree!!!!!!! But evey one to there opinion........

  • it's relative baby.. the more things change, the more they remain the same..

  • jeff beck rules.

  • all those things they said were wrong are what i want to be

  • I miss vinyl.

  • your vinyl needs an adaptor you should just give it to me i have one :)

  • One of the greatest rock 'n roll songs ever!

    Period.

  • I saw the Yardbirds in Oklahoma City in 1966. They put on a wild show at a local amusment park. Distroyed their amps and everything.

  • i ♥ this song on observe and report

  • who played guitar on this track?

  • Jeff Beck played the leadguitar, and

    Paul Samwel-Smith played the bass.

  • @musiccounter was page not the bassist in 1965?

  • ive seen page play this live (on video, obviously)

  • Beck-a-roo

  • @SHOWERSHORTZ Jimmy page!

  • its pretty pathetic that a movie with seth rogen has to come out for everyone to appreciate this classic song. man...ive been listening to this stuff since the hippies days

  • Guess it's just the way it goes - the classics get a bit lost in the soup

  • You're right. These young pups wouldn't know anything unless it's sold to them in a movie, commercial, or through some other corporate medium.

  • Hey, better that than nothing.

If kids need to learn about the Byrds and Beatles through K-Mart commercials, so be it...

  • I don't think it's pathetic at all that movies introduce people to music. I'm 19, so obviously I wasn't around in the hippie days. Still, I love The Beatles, Dylan, Velvet Underground, etc. And I too didn't hear this song until "Observe and Report". Who the hell cares as long as the music is being played and people appreciate it?

  • good for you dickbag. i wasnt born in '49 so how was i suppsoed to be listening to this since "the hippies days" as you so eloquently put it?!

  • Yeah, but you gotta cut the kids some slack, at least the kids are getting to hear some killer tunes, huh? That Beck riff, man! Gotta love it!

  • I loved Observe and Report, and the use of this song during the drug and alcohol binge was perfect. It's this kind of upbeat music being set onto some really depraved stuff that really highlights how messed up the characters were at this point.

  • Because of that movie, I've made this song my official beat up skaters anthem.

  • awesome you can hear the vinyl pops and clicks! Jeff beck for the god damned win!

  • love the guitar!

  • this songs good its funny in Observe and Report when they were hitting those skateboarders in the head and doing heroin in the bathroom and cocaine lol

  • yeah, that's how i found this song!

  • loser..

  • I am glad this song is in the Observe and Report preview; it has been my favorite Yardbirds song (and really one of my favorite 60s songs in general) for ages, and it is about time it got recognition anew!

  • HEY!

  • heard this on the observe and report trailer this song rocks!!!

  • i reacently heard this of the woodstock generation album and loved it.

  • i'm 18 an i love this song. PWN.

  • I'm 13 and I love this song. :D

  • im 12 months old and i love this song

  • Hi ball, either!

    anyway, thanks for comment ....

  • I think this poor person is tryin' to treat the other generation or something .... (just for fun?) Is there no help for him?

  • :-D

  • I was 9 in '66 and loved this song - had no idea what it meant, but I liked it!

  • I was a teen in the '80s--but I was only into '60s music at the time (because I listened to the classic rock station exclusively). Now, I rarely even listen to music on the radio--just the NPR news. I don't think I've heard this classic for a decade at least--but I just caught a snippet of it in an ad for a movie that's coming out with Seth Rogen, it's being heavily promoted right now--and I had to hear it again after all these years.

  • Exactly the same reason I'm here listening to it! Heard the movie trailer and just had to hear this again.....! thanks for the comment. They really did rock though, didn't they? remember 'House of Omagarshid? somthin' like that....

  • I actually don't remember " House of Omagarashid", because I never owned any Yardbird albums (or Cream, or Rolling Stones or anything). I only knew the 1960s/70s songs that still got heavy airplay on 102.7 WNEW FM (or 92.3 KROCK) in NYC in the mid to late 1980s." House of Omagarashid" wasn't one of them. But I searched for it here on youtube and there is a goofy video of some family wearing Halloween masks and pretending to be making a music video to the tune of it over here. Cute! :-)

  • You don't want to read what I read, or don't want to read what I wrote? Can I give you a thumb sideways?

  • I don't want to read what you wrote. It's too long.

  • So don't do me any favors. I don't want you read what I wrote.

  • Simply the best!! I was app. 14 years old when this came out. 1965-1975 was the best of all time overal !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Some good music from then sure, but growing up in the seventies, born in `68, I had to sit through a lot of godawful dreck on the radio too. I'll put some of what's going on now, up against some of the shit that was going on then in music.
