Thanks for sharing - I'm an Ol' School Mama to the bone - Mfs on here are lucky that you even allow them to rate this b/c I wouldn't go through the trouble for these kids to criticize my music & efforts - 4 mfs {& counting} doesn't like this - Maybe they should listen to a convict like lil sneezy weezy - Mandrill is the truth - shawty lo also copied their "Children of the sun" for his song "lo" or whatever it's called - Nostalgia is setting in - Bring this real music BACK
I've had this album since I was a teenager... I'm 38 now, and I find it cool when kids come across it now and say "PE sampled this"... it's truly a great album, and for the Hip Hoppers that don't know... The Jungle Brother's "Straight out the Jungle" was sampled from here, too.
Neftali, Did you play with Mandrill on 8/29/09 at the Long Beach festival? I really wanted to go but couldn't make it. Was lookin forward to seeing the Wilson bros again. I've known Lou,Rick(doc) and Carlos, Little Al also(r.i.p) , since 1985.
I still have the album 'Just Outside of Town' but not a turn table...that works. I always loved the bass line in this song. Thanks for the post mikeabusa.

Who got here bc of Public Enemy?
FDR1945 1 year ago 6
@FDR1945 I sure did...that's my idol group in Hip Hop.
I love ALL their music because they never change their style
or subject matter for NOBODY, and they keep bringin' that
true 'no mercy for the braindead' music for the entire universe
to bare witness to.
PUBLIC ENEMY FOR LIFE!!!!

By the time they get to Arizona. I never knew where PE's sample came from. This funk that they made back then was deep.

Not many words, but amazingly funky and deep

@BagpipeHustler
Hell yeah they did!!!
'Dessssstroyed' this track is only puttin it very lightly.
The Bomb Squad set the A-bomb to this track, let it blow,
and then came back to that same area and recreated
a brand new nightmare ['By The Time I Get to Arizona']
to have the braindead waking up screaming to!!!
