think about it, he saw his leader fighting megatron who is not honest(did anyone remember heavy metal war?) of course he didnt got the nerve to shot the gun off, instead he jumped and made that bitch.

IF he didnt jumped, Megs would dodge the shot and shoot Optimus Prime with the gun that he founded on the ground, overall, Hot Rod did not caused Optimus Prime death.

I found a Rodimus on ebay for $30 (that includes shipping). I really wanted to buy it, but I'm low on funds right now, so I really can't afford any new figures right now (The money I do have, I'm spending on comic books). On the topic of Rodimus himself, I think that he's a great character, and was one of the better ones that came out of Season 3.

I always wondered why any sane guardian would let Daniel have a rocket powered hoverboard, the thing didnt last a minute before he lost control and blew up. Kid wasnt even wearing a helmet or any form of protection.

As for would Prime have shot Megatron? I'd say yes he would have, both were determined to end it then and there.

Always good to revisit G1 characters and their stories. Although, I dont agree with some opinions on Hot Rod/ Rodimus Prime. Rodimus is a tragic hero. He has deal with the fact that he was the result of Optimus being killed, he has to protect the known galaxy and lead the Autobots. But there were some parts where he really shined as a leader and as an individual and if we would of had a real 4th season with him in charge, I think we would be comparing or praising him like Optimus.

@rodimusMajor25 Hot Rod did not caused the death of Optimus, even if Hot Rod didnt jumped, Megatron would dodge the shot of Optimu's blaster and shoot him with the little gun that he found it. of course, Optimus would not dodge that because he didnt know that he was with a gun. so, with or without Hot Rod, Optimus would die.

I really expected to get halfway through this and turn it off, but I was extremely surprised to enjoy it.

Really goes to show you that even a 48 minute video can be entertaining given the material and the person doing the video.

I would love to see Hasbro redo the Rodimus Prime figure in a future Universe line. If not I may need to be forced to get my first (and hopefully only) Titanium.

The universe line of toys is pretty good(apart from Galvatron)so it'd be nice to see them redo Rodimus Prime. I'd be buying the 1986 toy(I was born that year:)) so I could compare them.
