I don't understand the answer, the CW series have a Bluray/dvd player, you can play with cd rom games, view films on DVD format (or Bluray) or anything you want

how do you deal with the "Instant On" part of the CW? It's not password protected. Do you find yourself clearing all your browsing data after use before shutting down the computer? I find it annoying that it's not password protected. I've heard also, you can access your files somehow via the "Instant On" section,but I haven't been able to do that myself yet on my Sony Vaio.

@HardNotTo Passwords aren't going to stop a hacker from viewing files on the PC.

He'll just run on DOS mode or reinstall windows (7) and view it.

yes they sell them in the US I just bought my nieces the new 2010 Pink CW with intel Core i3 & Nvidia GeForce GT 330M it can play any game on the market right now. I have a few videos of it on my page.

As long as the notebook isn't loaded, the soundscape is very pleasant. The fan noise is audible but far from being loud.

OK, thanks, because I had the vaio CS31, and the fan would be constantly on, at around 70% of the time. Incredibly annoying. Sony for long time denied there was any problem but thanks to the net and word of mouth they have admitted to the fault.

However they guarantee the CW model does not have this problem, so its good you have a positive experience as Im considering of buying it.

Even my cs36 has a wild roar of its fan. The sony asia has recognized this fan problem and they are offering free fan replacement but its limited to cs26 and below models only.

IMPORTANT QUESTION - PLEASE ANSWER. - have you had any problems with the fan since you bought it, does it kick it excessivelly or make funny noises ?

Because the previous model Vaio CS had massive problems with a faulty, and frequent fan, its the main reason why the CW model was introduced.

Would love to hear your experience.
