@labobo so, you are suggesting that changing the entire underlying operating system of the organization- along with all of the multi-million dollar applications that run on it is a cheaper and less intrusive strategy than shoring up your network security? hmmmm......
@ramair311 Can you really read and understand what you read ?
You are not getting it. Retry!
you can't fix stupid, that's a fact, choosing microsoft to begin with was stupid, especially with all the bad rep they got and are getting more and more of these days
you don't fix a bug by working around it, you fix the bug or remove the program with the bug and install a better program
@ramair311 example: mcafee internet security latest version caused a lot of bsods during high network traffic. The company couldn't fix it, user have had that problem for years, i gave them a year to fix it and they didn't so i switched to another internet security program for my company and have never looked back.
Everyone that asks, i tell them to stay far away from mcafee products.
@labobo mcafee was your security strategy? What about IDS/IPS, NAC, WAF, DDoS/SYN mitigation, and NAC? It sounds like your organization is much smaller without the need for such measures - in that case you are comparing apples to oranges - "Retry!" lol

instead of fixing the original software you install yet another software ?
instead of wasting money and time on the mess from radware

@ramair311 Of course we have several security layers in place, mcafee was one of them.
Never trust your security to only one program.
