I particularly like James K. Polk, our 11th POTUS. He promised to serve only one term but he laid down 4 specific goals he wanted to accomplish during his presidency: acquire Oregon from Britain, acquire California from Mexico, lower tariffs, & establish an independent treasury system. With sheer determination & fortitude, he achieved all of them IN JUST 4 YEARS and, true to his word, he refused to run for a second term.

Harry Truman said it best: "Said what he set out to do and did it".

Clinton's scandal was strictly a personal one that didn't really affect the business of government. But Watergate was about abuse of power, cover-up,......... Many of Nixon's aides, including the Attorney General, had to go to jail for their involvement in that scandal.

Grover Cleveland served 2 terms with Harrison in between and his first number is 22 (2 terms) umm Fillmore "filled" in for William Harrison. Coolidge, Hoover and Roosevelt all have double oo's and are consecutive, and stuff like that

I don't agree with every last detail but I like him because he's mostly honest. When have we ever had a most honest President since Abe Lincoln? He did two things I support and a third he's in the process of doing. There was a bridge in Missouri jobs got cut. Now the stimulus bill put those guys back to work. Like I said yesterday he's putting 30,000 troops into Afghanistan. Finally, he's cutting taxes and people will get $1,000 in tax relief they didn't get under Reagan.
