for the A thing I want to say that a solo thing is not the same thing as westlife! He can sit at home and write songs, go on tour when HE wants to, not when 4 other people want.

The only reason people hate westlife is because nobody thought they'd last & they've proved every1 wrong! They're 1 of the most successful groups EVER & people can't handle that. Westlife have took lots of chances & still come out on top and that is great!

8th?that's how long I've been gone from the Westlife musicscene?I've followed these guys since I was 9 back in the Phil when they first started in '98/'99 but ever since I moved & shifted to other genres of music I haven't updated on them!hehe.Eversince the boyband fever had died down here in the US they've been having difficulties conquering the music scene here so they're not that well known.But I'm still glad they're still going strong(if not stronger)& making music just like before!=]

I am American and I used to listen to them in another country, but "Westlife" will never break into America. Mainly because Americans like original bands and people here will always realize that the Backstreet Boys and Nsync were better than Westlife. Everyone sings in American boybands rather than haign lead singers and background singers. American boybands also don't Lipsync--it's a sin to lipsync.
