@LGenVision Actually the V rod does 0-100 km in 3.5 secs, alot of this is due to their long wheel base allowing for big strong fast launches. And the air cooled harleys differing in models do 0-100 in about 6 seconds. They arn't built as an all out performance machine obviously due to their weight and power, but if you are lucky enough to ride one, one-day then you'll know the 'torque' and power on a V rod.
>> you can always go down to the dealer ship and sit on one if you like. >> it's a 680 pound bike. >> make sure you have the weight to handle the beast. 180 is recommended by harley. the low center of gravity on the bike makes it easy to handle once you get going and also it's great for people with shorter legs when stopping.
NielsMF you are very wrong nothing of this bike is Porche for your own information, Harley designed everything from scratch, the engine came from the VR-1000 A harley racing super bike, very powerful, Harley went to Porche to seek advice on how to make that engine a street more durable engine

fuck HARLEY DAVISON!!!!!!!! Those pieces of shit bikes fall apart too much to pay all that money for. Anyone to differ is just so used to the bullshit that they dont want to admit it
yet another poser obsessing over brand an image to distinguish themselves as 'real bikers' even though they've never owned or ridden a bike in their lives.
this is not a real harley, no offence they are great bikes those v rods but it aint a HD engine. it's a porsche made engine without distinctive HD sound like a freakin' heartbeat... vrod/nightrod sounds like any ordinary big twin like intruder, virago whatever..
Listen my friend, I own one. Says Harley on the tank, I make the check out to Harley credit every month. Owned Harleys for over 30 years. Porsche worked with Harley on the engine engineering as they did on air cooled V twins. 'Sounds like that because in order to get 9,000 rpm they had to change the engine design or the thing would have flown apart at high rpms.
relax my fellow harley lover... i'm just saying that it's not a harley davidson like they used to be. Oldschool style, knuckles, irons etcetera. "real" harleys with the hartbeat sound... i just think the v rod/nightrod types are so...modern. Though they are impressive!
So my house is not my house? I had sombody help me put the roof and siding on. does that not make it my house? just because harley had outside help , doesnt mean its not their bike.
@NielsMF It cracks me up when old-schoolers say the DX is not a real Harley or not a Harley engine. The Revolution V-twin is a Harley engine with COLLABORATION from Porsche engineers. Your old air-cooled, push rod Harley is made with a lot of parts imported from overseas. Is yours not a real Harley, either?
You can ride your old school Harley, but if you pull up next to a DX at a stoplight, you might want to turn the other way.
TL1000 is a beautiful bike. I have a Harley and I love it but I wouldn't ever trade my Harley for a TL1000. Why? Totally different bikes. TL1000 is a racer, my Harley is a cruiser. Each has it's own strength and weakness.
whats a tzr?? i got both night rod special and hayabusa i use them for diffrent purposes. night rod for weekends with my gf or with my dad(cause its a bad ass bike). hayabusa has every day bike, rather waste the miles on the hayabusa then my harley cause the haya is a lot cheapier. but dont under estimate the night rod special i have left plenty 650-700cc sport bikes with it.
do you realize that this bike has 10 times more torque than ur 15 year old 250 cc shitty 2s bike right ? and can burn her at start like nothing. dude shut the fuck up
I got rid of the ZX12R today and got myself a Night Rod Special. This bike is great! Anyone thinking of getting one, but is not sure, should go out and take a test ride. I don't know why I waited so long...
Thanks. But no help needed. I've got one now. As soon as I get a camera and learn how to post a video, I will. I like the Monsters, too. I considered that option. I'm glad to get away from the ZX12(although it was a great bike). No regrets! Thanks

ask 1,00 girls what bikes they want a ride on, and see how many say "Husqvarna," and how many say "Harley."
You faggot Jap-Bike riders love to talk shit online, but NEVER say shit in real life to anyone on a Harley.

actually the 2nd bikes exhaust is not the stock exhaust. if you look closely it has turnouts.

Man, looks like somebody needs to lower their bike. Kinda sucks to have to get off and walk it backwards into a parking space on level ground.
