I remember finding a glith in this stage, but I can't do it on the virtual console. It has to do with one of the chutes at the start of the stage, and doing a dash jump on top of the scrap metal, and climbing into the chute. After you do it, if it works, you can run through the ceiling to the main area, but the armor capsule is glitched, and you have to stay in the higher area. Also, the colors are messed up a little. It's actually how I learned ehere the arm parts are.
God bless the 90's. I miss the Taco Bell dog, the terrible pop music, the awesome 8 bit games, the T.V shows, it was all great. Being a kid in the 90's was definitely the best childhood ever lol
@LqrDrnkr757 I think that as well. But how do you just stop making one of the best game franchises of all time? I think they need to return it to its roots if they continue making them. Some games (like Castlevania as well) were just better as 2D side scrollers.
Tone of people do, its just most of them have either bad picture overlays or the picture is covering up a recording from an emulator, thus the *ping* sound in the beginning of most.
@InflatableVampire That´s good for you that you enjoy it, but capcom wont make any good games in the future. But they do appreciate our money to continue other games like Devil may cry 5.
In my opinion, the MMX1 series was, and still is, one of the most epic one.
@bangsheep I will say that X1 was the best out of the sidescrolling ones I have played(followed closely by Megaman 2). Battle Network and X are so different that one can't make many valid comparisons.
you´ve mentioned a good point. But capcom has changed. they aren´t that much interested in developing good megaman games like they did many years ago (til BNT 3 blue/ and white edition got released). Even through i appreciate their effort to present us MM 9 & 10, I just had more hope in those two games, that those would turn out highly evolved graphics and stuff. 2 say the truth im not that hardcore into the newer stuff, not even the warmed up stuff. Guess that im old.
@bangsheep Yeah, I continue to maintain that there's no such thing as a "bad" Megaman game (except Megaman Soccer and Battle Chip Challenge) MM9 was billed as a return to the classic Megaman format(which it did exceptionally well) and I haven't played MM10. Battle Network 3 was the first Megaman game I ever played, and I will say it changed me.

They could've made the cover so much more epic...showing all the mavericks on the cover instead of stupid Launch Octopus -__-...hated that bastard.

@LqrDrnkr757 why would you ever want to stop them from making these epic pieces of gaming history?

@SuperCtrlaltelite I agree with him, the music after X4 was okay but nowhere near as memorable and well-composed as the first 3 installments.

Yes, take us all back to the 90´s. This Future sucks. Not even 1st Megaman got invented yet >:[ WTH?!
No ZXA Digimon crap or BNT Pokemon spin-off (jack into my toaster to save my PopTarts)
MMX 1 rocks the shit out of the entire rest (all the following tracks were bedtime lame somehow). MMX1 4 EVAR!
im glad that at least some people agree, thanks for sharing!
