That quality is awful, I use a faster micro SD card, the standard "class 2" speed card you get with the desire is ok for most phones, but, not phones with 720p recording. for that you need a class 6. I fitted a quality (shock water and magnet proof) class 6 8gig card by samsung for only £15.99 on Amazon and it has improved the quality loads. way better than the standard card, well worth the investment. Hope this helps a few people
this happens on all the HTC Desires 720p recording and you would have thought HTC would not have put this out in Froyo knowing it gives this type of quality but having said that its still the best phone ever..!
i think this prob comes only if you have a lot of progs running a the same time you'r doing the video!...or i-net onnections running...like downloading songs or something else...

I hade exactly the same problem on my desire, the 720p recording works really bad, i hope HTC will correct this...

SD cards doesn't rlly matter, do as yuni86 said and it'll work. Restart the phone , then use the camera.

u use the sd card that comes with the phone, maybe updating to class 6 or more will help ?
