  • This was a terrible miniseries. I remember reading 2 things about this scene: 1) This scene takes place in 1939 and the song she's singing, "The Last TimeI Saw Paris", was written in 1940 2) A reviewer wrote, "Streisand has nothing to worry about!"

  • @pnyc1969 Joan Collins as singer is no Streisand (Streisand is clear, sonorous and powerful), but more like Marlene Dietrich--a whisky contralto sexy female voice that more talks than sings. Joan is not cacophonous or off key. At worst her singing is pleasant.

  • She is fantastic.

  • joan collins has had more hands up her than the muppets

  • this stinks

  • I like her voice! She is so fantastic and sexy

  • Joan Collins was a glamour puss, but not a singer. LOL! George Hamilton face is hilariously bored as he listens to Joan Collins try to sing. She should have had her voiced dubbed. This was one of the worst mini-series ever.

  • Have you ever seen her duet with Debbie Reynolds of C'mon Get Happy in These Old Broads? in that clip she truly did sing wonderfully

  • Yes I saw These Old Broads. Joan can do a lot of things, singing is not one of them. In TOB they sort of hid her voice with glitter and happy effects, but she can't carry a song.

  • She realy loved Umberto....

    Sad he dies!
