hello my storm is a cdma phone whit telus can i still unlock it and put a telus sim card a got whit my telus bberry pearl ???? its use to be a friend phone i buy, but he never pay the bill sooooo i can't activate it derecly whit telus =(

@juliecoralie You will not be able to use with a Telus SIM because the phone is not compatible with the 3G frequency they operate on but you will be able to use it with Rogers/Fido.

@sa23ge You will only be able to use it with ATT or T-Mobile in the US. Verizon is CDMA and do not utilize SIM cards.

@cellunlocknet This particular phone will not work with a telus SIM card as it was CDMA when they sold it. I just bought a storm and its unlocked telus card doesn't work.. if i can get the cdma number maybe they can activate it that way

@beleaf4eva It won't because Telus only has a 3G HSPA Network and the 9530 is not compatible with the frequency Telus uses on GSM. You can use it with Rogers, Fido, AT&T, T-Mobile etc.. on 2G. Telus doesn't have a 2G Network.

There was a mix up but I got the correct code and typed it down, and it said "code accepted"

Thats's correct, only EDGE will work in North America, and it works well.

You will only be able to use the Telus Storm with AT&T or T-Mobile in the US once unlocked, because Verizon will not permit you to use it on their network

You can unlock a Telus phone, but they don't have a GSM network (yet, starting one this December). But if you unlock it you can use it on Rogers or Fido. Or travel with it.
