  • Good show!

  • You guys are wrong about young people that don't care. Take a look at We Are Change, the Ron Paul movement, and many other very active groups of young people that are confronting the evil elite with cameras and protesting and getting arrested. What protesting are you guys doing? How are you fighting to change things? You're just trying to protect yourselves.

  • yewutube .....what I am saying is yes the global financial situation is not good as we all know and that Casey and his bunch are capitalising on that fear.

  • @reelamour That's a double edge sword. I often hear the word fear mongering in reference to people like Doug Casey. Fear mongering, capitalists, I have followed Doug Casey two years - a straight shooter: offers a ton of free information, and has a great track record. I don't have stake in saying anything positive I could easily be negative but when you see how globally the direction we're taking its more leaning to a Doug Casey case scenario then to there being a recovery and all systems go.

  • I agree 110% They are all Champanzzee AH lickers

  • Opportunists? Adding to the fear about the global financial situation. Im not saying it isnt bad but this whole video was created to get more subscribers.."ultimatley what you need to do is send us money to protect yourself"....just sayin

  • @reelamour

You're right. It isn't a bad thing. So what's your point exactly?

  • Wth is wrong with some people in the comments here? Geeze. Calm down. It's not like what he said was supposed to be sociological research at pHD level or something. They're having a informal conversation over a bottle of wine. He wasn't bashing Canada. It was just a little funny remark. If you understood what he meant, you'd smile and forget about it, like he probably did, and I'm quite sure they would make plenty of jokes about America and Americans instead if that's where they were.

  • The Canada bashing is silly but the economic ideas are rational... I don't agree with the Canada bashing but I hope it doesn't take away from their argument too much because the economic principles are sound.

  • @ryanhanley13

I'm a Canadian, and I'm not in the slightest offended by their comments on Canada. I support the view that gun laws are overly strict in Canada. Gun laws don't prevent or reduce crime. This is due to a very basic concept: criminals don't keep the law. Even a politician should get that.

  • What?? tobacco isn't illegal in Canada!!

but firearms are.... still, it's quite ignorant that he says that like it's fact.

  • Your credibility is undermined when you are using (incorrect) assumptions about Canada to make your point. Please take into consideration the fact that many of your viewers may be Canadian (or well-informed Americans) - and they are probably just as put off by your erroneous statements as I am.

  • While it was interesting to watch this "after hours" discussion, I'm not sure that it was really edited enough. I mean - saying that cigarettes and guns are illegal in Canada? While in Vancouver? Really?? I understand that this is one man's opinion but if the video is being published under Casey Research, I think that some fact-checking prior to making the video public is needed. For the record - smoking is no more illegal in Canada than in California, and neither are firearms.

  • funny the old fuckers that fucked up the system are saying c'mon where are the youth? lol

history remains the same, the new generation cleans up the shit from the old

  • @solojam THUMBS UP! I hate old people. Some may be wise but most are just stupid and stubborn. Can't seem to adjust any changes. eh em...I hope I won't be like that when I get old. lol

  • Oh great, a bunch of middle aged guys, boozing it up, and talking politics. Why wasn't I invited? Whaaa : )

Bayonets are nice but it's a good strong pike that you'll need for putting the heads up on for the parade.

  • "Why aren't the youth in the street?" - It doesn't take a genius to realize that the youth would be going up against the biggest superpower government police state in the history of humanity. And you're wondering why they aren't in the street? LOL Have you seen what happens at even the LIGHTEST of protests? Dogs, clubs, shields, robo-cops, and tanks.

  • @TimothyADonaghue The youth don't even seem to be concerned. They aren't even attempting to organize to ideals that are not officially sanctioned by either of the two parties.

  • I think you're a bit arrogant....sitting around drinking wine. What are you doing now to help fix the situation other than talking about it? Talk about it...isn't that what whipped dogs do.

  • love the format!

  • Americans are whipped dogs...LOL. I shouldn't laugh but its true and I'm American!

  • There are lots of young people that are upset. lol @ at the "get off my lawn" moment :-)

  • Real people, real life, wish I could go and play in Argentina too! Maybe someday.

    Hiyo silver, Away!

  • This is WAY more interesting than the original discussion :)

  • I love Doug Caseys voice. It reminds me of the father from ALF. Im entertained just listening to him :).

But i have to agree with that guys statement that no one cares. I think thanks to the internet more people care than ever. Its just a matter of people not falling into that shitgeist trap. Theyre told all the problems and then given a "solution" thats the elites wet dream. To give up all your private property(and others) and become a cogg in their system!

  • @NicosMind. I love his voice too. I also love Jim Sinclair interviews too. Both these guys cut through the verbal bullshit.

  • In my case, old people are more ignorant. I'm going to protest my government now for a re-investigationg of 911. good chat!

  • Jersey Shore was Great!

  • Seeing them enjoying a glass of wine is brilliant

  • the guy second from the left can't handle his booze lol!

  • Good stuff great to see you guys kicking back

    looking forward to more events

  • This is a million times better than "Jersey Shore"

  • More wine chats please... Maybe a scotch chat.

  • I want more wine chats, this is awesome!

  • "We can have alcohol, but were missing tobacco and firearms" That's great! Magna Carta 1215 says we have a right to bear arms, too bad 99% of the Canadian citizenry are oblivious and obsequious. I would love to have been at this gathering, nice wine, intelligent, no non-sense, proactive conversation. Stay grounded folks
