Is the top down or windows down? I just ordered the same setup and I have to say yours sounds SICK!!!!!!!! a real good mean tone to it. I just wanted to know since the camera is in the car how that sound will be like outside the car. thanks
Top is down, the camcorder is sitting on the pass seat as you can see when it starts sliding. I got up to 100 mph, wind noise took over after a while.
As far as how it sounds outside the car...well, let me put it this way. Everytime you go through a tunnel, pass another car, sit in traffic boxed in by cars, you will hear the sound reflect back towards you. And you will laugh your ass off every time. It f-in rocks.
It's an Alpine CDA-7897 with the XL face. Great receiver, Bass Engine Pro - which gives me the controls to tune the receiver/built in power to smoothly work with the factory Mach 460 amps and speakers. I had to get the wiring schematics for the stock system since no one made an aftermarket receiver to Mach 460 adapter when I did the swap. Works flawlessly and makes a stock Mach 460 sound like my cell phone MP3 player.

Get a tri-ax or similar shifter! In my 02 I hated that stock shifter, it feels soooo much different. Great car tho, always been a mustang fan! I'm on my fifth now, a 2008. Just installed magnapacks. Last was an 02 model similar to yours! Tri-ax that puppy! I loved mine! (unless you have a shifter already, hard to tell but doesn't look like it)
Well,you do own an 02 right man?In my opinion it feels like ur riding over the steering wheel...its just how the seat is even with the tilt wheels its still kinda weird..and i agree about the shifter its too far up a pro 5.0 shifter solved that prob for me...but i love my 01 GT!no probs in the 2 years i've owned it besides some wiper blades..no camaro can say that.lol
Sounds good! I also have a crimson red '04 with the magnapacks catback. I've been trying for awhile now to make up my mind as to which mid pipe I wanted to go with.
Thanks. My dad has an '04 Redfire GT Conv, he has your current setup. Its pretty loud, and he comments how much louder mine is over his. It really sounds sweet when engine braking with cold pipes.
