I can't really choose. In a real duel I'd probably go 4 Obelisk, but only bcos he is the most reliable as his ATK and Def aren't really variable on anything like Slifer's and Ra's are.

The only thing is I'm uncertain of his effect. I heard it was 4000 LP dmg if u tribute 2 monsters, but I also heard he destroys all monsters on the field and in the show its something like giving him infinite ATK. I really don't know, could someone help me out?

I think that might of been something exclusive to the series. But in the last season when they fuse to become the Creator of Light I think they have infinate ATK, but I don't know if thier combined form is even a real card. Personally on hand held versions of the game I prefer to go for a 1 turn kill sort of strategy. Cyberstein, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon. 1 or 2 turns and its over, no need to tribute 3 monsters.

It is kinda fun (but dangerous) to give megamorph to an opponent's monster. If your life points r higher then his monster's ATK just gets cut in half. Personally if I ever make a deck with megamorph, I always put in Axe of Despair, it is just one of the best equip cards around and 0 downsides, its just 1000 ATK straight up.

royal decree is also good, and also, the DSF + demise combo is probably the best. Use AR to dump in the mechanicalchaser(s) or blocker(s), summon demise, clear the field summon ancient gear dragon with geartown, if you had one, then summon black salvo, summon mechanicalchaser or blocker, sync to DSF, attack with all the monsters, demise, DSF and ancient gear gadjiltronwhatever dragon, then use DSF. Even if demise gets bottomless, then you can win by AGGD + DSF because field is clear.

Basically.

Have geartown on the field.

Summon Demise with advance ritual art.

Choose 2 dark lv4 normal machine monsters. (Blocker and Mechanicalchaser are one of those)

Use Demise's effect.

You can summon ancient gear gadjiltron dragon with geartown.

Now, summon black salvo, use it's effect.

Now, attack with Ancient gear gadjiltron dragon, demise and DSF.

Use DSF (Dark Strike Fighter) effect. You win.

@227060 heres a good strategy: first you must have these cards in your hand( mega morph, cyber stein, plus youll need a 3000+atk fusion monster (BEWD works good)

first play cyber stein, use his ability to summon a fusion monster with high attack then equip that monster with mega morph. if your attacking a weak monster, you could theoretically win in one turn

@227060 Well, the card's been out for a while... "Obelisk the Tormentor" can't be targeted by another card's effect, cards/effects can't be activated in response to it being Summoned, it can't be Set, it needs to be Normal Summoned with 3 Tributes, and its Normal Summon cannot be negated. You can Tribute 2 monsters you control to destroy all monsters your opponent controls, and this card can't attack in the same turn you use this effect. So there you go.

You'd neeed alot of cards to help 2 tribute AND get them to ur hand fast. I suppose the ultimate move would b to have Obelisk with a pwrfl Slifer then tribute them with another monster 2 summon Ra. Boom baby ain't no getting past that

@227060 "The Winged Dragon of Ra" is out in Japan. It also needs 3 Tributes, can't be Set, Normal Summon can't be negated or responded to, like with "Obelisk the Tormentor". I think ALL the God cards should b immune to all card effects except those of monsters which have both a divine attribute AND Divine beast type. that way they can defeat each other and its possible 4 u 2 change ur monster's type and attribute so its effect will target the gods

@227060 Considering the current state of the game, I think it's fine as it is. Making it exactly like the anime version would be redundant. Keep in mind that the monster destruction effect of "Obelisk the Tormentor" does not target, so even "The Winged Dragon of Ra" and "Slifer the Sky Dragon" are vulnerable to it, not to mention "Mirror Force". Which reminds me. "Obelisk the Tormentor" is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase if it was Special Summoned. Same with "Slifer the Sky Dragon".

So when I beat someone with a "Harpie Lady" Deck, I'm going to say, "Congratulations. You've just been defeated by four-inch spiked nipples."

@227060 That's not how "Pyro Clock of Destiny" works. It moves the turn count for a face-up card on the field forward by 1. In other words, it can get rid of a card like "Swords of Revealing Light" more quickly. In your example, you'd want something more like "Chainsaw Insect" or "The Bistro Butcher".

It would move the turn count for a card like "Swords of Revealing Light" forward by one, making it last that much less. When I first started the game I didn't bother with simle things like the rules and me and my friedn just tried to play the game as it was on the TV show. @227060 Well, there are many cards that force the Battle Phase to end. "Flashbang" immediately ends the turn, as does "Neko Mane King". "Timeater" makes your opponent skip their Main Phase 1, and a few banned cards, like "Time Seal", make your opponent skip their Draw Phase.

Yugi typically finds someone committing some misdeed (for example, someone cheating at a game), changes into Yami Yugi, challenges them to a "Shadow Game" and when they lose, gives them a "Penalty Game" fitting their crime.
