Here's the real story:

Dead Island was originally a single-player game. You get to play as a man who lost his wife after the outbreak and now, you have to find her. But, when you get to her, the infected got to her first.

The game was supposed to be released in 2008. But, it was cancelled. Techland® got back on the game.

Something happened with my xbox I found hololtape or whatever in the lighthouse and I played automatically and I hear screaming ingame from tape after the scream I got so scared cuz the game had a major bug and it went so laggy so I hit guide menu and went back and the game froze like those tv channels using an antenna :(

I will be honest i have this game and i got it for christmas. If the game was to look like this i would have returened it the day after i got it. But its way better. I mean the zombies look amazing, as well does the scenery. It looks like a post card no joke. And im picky with everything if it has alot of glitches im not gonnna get it.

Duplicating was fixed.

@tyler36150 Story is shit, voiceacting is shit, RPG elements are terribly dumbed down and don't give you the sense of customizing your character in the slightest, it is really damn buggy, but it is a REALLY fun game. It hits the nail on the head with perfect melee combat and satisfying results.

Dead Island was originally created in 2006 and was meant to be published in 2008. But it ended up being pushed back to 2011, this trailer's the original trailer. That's why at the end it says "coming in 2008."
