Well I think we can agree the the road course configuration looks pretty damn good, almost like an F1 chassis. I think most people are pissed off over the oval version and because I love road course racing way more than oval racing, I've kind of ignored the oval configuration.
It's a fucking spec series, that's rubbish!! Why the fuck is Indycar so afraid to let Lola build cars?? Are they afraid of true competition?? Instead of competition we get ugly fucking lemon Dallaras which have a lethal flying problem.
OK. WELL now i am reconsidering about this design. let's try it this year and see if it works. Safer. I am old school , but if we can prevent what happened in Las Vegas then i am for it.
I actually like the new car, I don't really care if it's a traditional open wheel car or not. I think this car will be a better RACE car than the current Dallara.
i agree. more like lemans but the same effect. also the same chassis for everybody i hear. more like " race of Champions" with all the same car. I dunno i kiked it in the old days when anybody could try as long as it was in the rule book guidlines. You get turbines , Novi"s, innovation and ?
I think this new "open wheel car" shouldn't even by called one at all. I mean I'm all for safety and I do like the safety cell part, but this thing has a rear bumper and all the angles and the car are designed to eliminate wheel-to-wheel contact. There making indycar more and more like 230mph nascar

THE SIDE PANELS ARE UGLY. Looks like an ALMS car, not a open wheel car.. and the rear... its a shame..

I hate how the side panels on the wings curve outwards, it looks ugly and I think the car could do without.
