@KrBandidas lunocet is a monofin. lunocet is just the name given by creator Ted Ciamillo. just like other brands like finis, who also name their monofins
I ordered a lunocet monofin and never received it after multiple promises/excuses from Ted Ciamillo. I ended up having to dispute the charge with my credit card company after a classic "your check is in the mail" final promise that a refund was coming. BTW, the check never arrived but thankfully my credit card company was very supportive of my dispute. Bottomline.... BEWARE!!!!
Wow! That is so neat how us humans are learning to expand our horizons even more. I believe that is the kind of fun we are meant to have exploring and making the most out of our big playground the world. Take advantage while it last ....If you cant afford a monofin or a dophin looking whatyoumackcallit make one ! Fiberglass is pretty cheap and works amazing.
I might pursue this... any idea on how to replicate this design? they clearly put a lot of R&D in this and it'd be great not to make the same mistakes they did. There's no way I'll get my hands on one or examine it in person... hmmm...
the sad part is it'll probably end up being used for military purposes.
Lol, it's not that funny by itself, but it's just that you don't see people wearing flippers with their feet every day. Also, using two feet to wear the flippers severely lowers your mobility, I guess I'd laugh when a shark's coming at you and you can't turn fast enough with a single flipper. =P
Oh you can turn just as fast, if not faster, with ANY kind of monofin, from my experience and what I've seen. It takes getting used to though, but I definitely see your point!
Hey everybody lets all go buy one of these! (just make sure you have 1,000 + dollars lying around)

Sidi shoes. Those are cycling shoes.
Lol why dont they design their own shoes instead of ruining nice shoes into dirty water?
Can't be good for the soles lol

the lunocet monofin would look better if the side end were pointy like a sharks tail or dolphin

LOOK better??? Hahahahaha, why does it need to look better? It's about hydrodynamics, not aesthetics.

Order a hydrospeeder from him and see how far you get. He's a smart dude and good at using OPM (other people's money).

if a shark was after you, nothing strapped to your feet would make a difference
