After this Lucas arts made a sequal to the series but the company CANCELED the project to what they say is money problems, but its actually that the people that made sam & max left lucas to make TELLTALE GMAES

@originalcoolstud Season 1 on the Wii is a pretty good game... Max seems more manic and high pitched in the 2006 sequel than in the '93 original though.

Sam is voiced by Bill Farmer, who has been the voice of Goofy for over 20 years. And Max is voiced by Nick Jameson. He was a member of musical groups like American Dream and Foghat back in the '60s and '70s.

I manage to get Sam and Max Hit the Road, Day of the Tentacle and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis in a CD tin from LucasArts website awhile back, I use SCUMMVM to play them as well as the Wingroove SG MIDI driver(which can be downloaded) for CD quality music just set the windows MIDI to Wingroove then ScummVM to the windows MIDI setting and these games never sounded better.

It's sad really. They're all great games, the classic adventure games from LucasArts are awesome but they just weren't selling enough, too many idiots who only know how to play FPS games. I like a good FPS game myself but also love this sort of game when it's done right. Too many people who only know Halo though and nothing else.

Ha, way funnier than in 3D. I also like the music. Around the end of the theme song sounds a bit like Paper Mario when fighting Tubba Blubba and some other game I played. The Theme suits the game perfectly. 5/5
