We rescued Miranda, a Catahoula, and she is a wonderful dog. Very protective, scary to many people, but gentle as a lamb. The dirt bags that had her tied her out with an extension cord and abused her. Now, she knows who loves her.

i LOVE my Catahoula..(Patch). he's beautiful, and just a wonderful dog w/my 4 children..even the littlest one (4 wks old).
Patch has saved my life before, attacking an intruder who later turned out to be a paroled convicted rapist!

i had a male cat/pitt bull. had to put him down after ten yrs of absolute love. he would run figure 8s around our sheltie as she stood and watched.
