"Tartan" never existed. It was invented by Victorian Idiots. Once "Ireland" was ALL Eire and Scotland (and most of Northunbria. Irish fought, died and killed each other on both sides during the US Civil War. Picts never existed. And no-one knows who invented bagpipes - or Northumbrian "Bellos Pipes" for that matter. Go and Read.
@JakJak478 That'll explain their overuse of shamrocks, and singing songs about 'the fightin' Irish'? They certainly seem to be a band that celebrates their Irish heritage, and they only seem to use Scottish culture when it suits them under the excuse that they're a 'Celtic' band.
So he's wearing a tartan kilt, which is Scottish? Playing Scottish bagpipes? And playing a Scottish song? I thought the Dropkick Murphys were an 'Irish' American band?
@gordonmorton1976 You fucking Knobhead; who the fuck Educated you ?Tartan is an IRISH creation : FACT .Scotland did NOT invent the Pipes :FACT.The Kingdom of the Scots was founded by the IRISH : FACT( Not to be confused with the Pictish Kingdom of Alba- a seperate entity entirely.
@jabadog12 Are you talking about the song just before they came out? The song is called The Foggy Dew. By Sinead O'Connor and Cheiftains. The Dropkick Murphys play it before every show. Just before the bagpipes start.
@GreenDay1981 i was singing along, then again i'm not from montreal. ken says in an interview they love playing it in rival cities just for the negative reaction it usually gets.
yeah this is the best footage of them because not only do you get to see the band but you also get to see how nuts the crowd goes and its got pretty good sound quality
I saw them live in Cincinnati back in June, but they were opening for The Offspring so they didn't do a full show. They did do about 12 songs though. I'm hoping to see a full DKM concert sometime.
@GreenDay1981 I was at that one, when they came to Detroit. I was there for The Offspring, but Dropkick Murphys did an AWESOME job as well!! They did have a good set list for the time they had :) A full concert would be awesome, I'd have to agree with you there.
"time to go" in montrael.... ahahahaha.. how they are still alive? :D

Definitely don't think they should have done a song tributed to the Bruins when they're in Montreal. I bet no one was singing along to that one.
