Bounty hunter Pro (prospector) but I'm planning to get the Gerrett ace250 with the 9x12'' coil for deeper detection and to cover more ground

i wouldnt, i used the 250 ace and didnt like it, picked up to much garbage and the noice in not adjustable. take my advice and keep looking for a better detector.

the ace floats between taget id,s to much to tell what you found it sucks!

see metal detecting finds 2008 part 2 oldest is 1910 but i dug up a 1912-S in fine-12 condition making it worth $22.00 in the coin grading book If u collect coins or metal detect, i'd strongly recommend u to buy the "Official red coin Book of 2009" u can get this book almost anywhere if u look in the hobbies section

it will tell u how 2 grade your coins and if u r ever interested in knowing how much ur coins are worth the book will have it all buy it every year, coin value changes every year :D
