  • Tua better not walk in to punches to the face - like at 1:58 - in a real fight with someone throwing with bad intentions. That should have been a duck or slip by him, not a faceplant on the glove. No matter how hard a puncher he is, he'll lose quick if tries to fight with his face leading the way like that.

  • ive been watching boxing for a very long time and i can tell when a fighter is shot. you still got a few good years left man and if you dont start so late in your fights you can overwhelm these bums and get those kos early like your famous for. monte barret is a prime example of starting to late!! let your hands go and get at him. the only reason you lost is because you let him pile up rounds bro! when you put pressure on him he had nothing!!!

  • TUA BRO YOU GOT WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN THAT WORLD TITLE. FAN FROM AUS

  • Uncrowned king.

  • David what have you done since beating Cameron so convincingly?

  • the best thing is he really wants to fight hell be more ripped by fight ime

  • Chin down eyes up take it to those tall guys..

  • good on ya David, your and inspiration to the pacific people and kiwis

  • @403766 you have any proof of that? I mean i like to believe it since i think tuas great but can you prove any of those claims?

  • uso man!

  • If he was to fight one the brothers he would lose but he still got it

  • @NiggaPlease2222 -NIGGAPALEEEEZE! WHOS YOUR BRUDDA WINNIE MANDELA? TUA MAN YOU DA MAN SMASHEM BRO

  • Tua is the badest man alive!

  • Tua was offered a title shot for 400,000 in December but they turned it down because apparently Tua owes IRD 2,000,000 million in tax money....you cant pay it off with 4 hundred thousand. thats called Bankrupt.

  • @llevijr its called bad accountant

  • Why didnt Barrett drop Haye in the 1st round????

  • I hope that he get's a title shot against Haye and the Klitschko's and destroy's all of them. Tua is an animal!

  • He got knocked out by Felix Savon......badly. He also never faced the toughest opponents. By the time he came into Boxing, the Heavyweight Division was no good anymore. He'll never be a champion.

  • Good fighter and strong, but he has a glass jaw.

  • @khalsasikh no

  • @khalsasikh Tua has never been knocked out in his 50 pro fight career. All others have been KOd including Mike Tyson, Klitchko's, Lewis. Tua got IRON JAW.

  • he lost becuz he was tired not bcuz the otherfellas gud david wulda knocked him out no doubt about it hes tu powerful. ur da man sole rep us wel

  • man muj respect to my uso tua but the fight today was his first knockdown ever in his boxing career but he drew against monte barrett was a good fight but hope the uso gets fitter for next fight

  • @1263 actually he gets dropped by rahman to uce but he still mean thou.

  • @MrRain274 Tua technically KNOCKED OUT Rahman.

  • his defense is underated

  • woulda hurt at 2:05

  • @hitzmansam yea,maybe 10 years ago,my god,what happened to tua??he couldn't even knock out barrett?

  • @Midiotwimp torn rotator cuff

vitali klichko was beatin chris byrds ass but stopped fighting cus of a torn rotator

    tua still got it man

  • @Midiotwimp Tell Barret to stop running like a coward like all the other boxers Tua has fought...run and tie Tua up is the way.....Cowards...

  • @llevijr well to be fair to barrett,he did publicly say he was retiring after the tua fight and if tua can't beat barrett, then he's finished,he already turned down wlad for the dec 11 fight so that says it all for tua

  • @llevijr mate, he dropped tua and should've won...i thought david was back, but after that dissapointing performance against barrett he can just forget it, if he can't beat barrett what chance does he have of beating the klitschko brothers? but don't worry we gotta new star on the rise, joseph parker who is also samoan and has the tools to be better than tua.

  • @sssbbbwww30 Tua sustained a shoulder injury during training, he also has the IRD chasing after another 2million dollars..after the court battle with Kevin Barry.. and parker wont go heavy weight. most likely cruiser weight. he doesnt look like a future heavy weight.

  • @sssbbbwww30 barrett mentality before fighting tua was "im going to retire with a bang"....well that mentality is out the door now. if he had kept that mentality vs Haye then he wouldve not just knocked Haye down but also knocked him out.

  • @sssbbbwww30 in the 12th round. why didnt Barrettt drop tua in the 1st round????

  • @llevijr why didn't tua beat or knockout barrett? you can't use an injury as an exuse,if tua doe's have a title fight i hope he doesn't perform the way he did against barrett...BUT......tua has the power to knockout any heavyweight in the world...so i'll support him if he does and hopefully get's another title shot.

  • @kiwiandwhat Yeah Lucas. Be interesting to see how his world title fight goes. Big Daddy I hope. Fob caught him alright! i thought it might be over but Big got up. His right cross is devastating.

  • @kiwiandwhat My mate knocked out the FOB Father in 1 minute 20. Hes a white Aussie. Chur.

  • Wow, I would hate to spar with him

  • @kiwiandwhat "Yous have no say in the fight game." you are ignorant and racist..im not even going there...your over... im done with you

  • @kiwiandwhat Mark and Ray both went to MMA idiot.

  • @kiwiandwhat huh you said your the street fighter not me....i think you need medication as your going back on what you said...you said "street fighters would kill any mma fighter no rules" ..remember?...fuckin muppet..and who said i was white...your a fucking clueless muppet

  • @kiwiandwhat i never said anything about mma fighters or boxers...i said this wasn;t street fighting...fact is street fighters wouldnt even last 5 minutes of training with a boxer or an mma fighter...the only try hard here is you... street fighters are gutless..they throw a punch and run or pick on someone half there weight...a real man fights in the ring..something you need to learn boy!

  • @kiwiandwhat yeah ..you should understand that idiot comments come back to haunt you....muppet..."fuck mma we kill them on the street" your an idiot if you think that son

  • @kiwiandwhat this isnt street fighting idiot its ring fighting...were REAL MEN FIGHT not idiot Doormen paid with peanuts.

  • he still looks like he's in agreat shape hope he can be as good as he once was all the best champ

  • Its a fire within...in life we face a lot of challenges...get up and have a another go.....you gotta look deep within yourself .....the only one who can answer them is yourself

  • @tmizzle79 TUA VS HAYE!!!...yeAH!! BRING IT ON!!!

  • tua needs to get back to rank for a championship from the klitschko$

  • savon's ok but tua will beat him again

  • @xXJAK3D0ggXx how again? in 1991 savon knocked him down in 20 sec. of the first round.

  • Tua should be thinking of fighting Felix Savon again. now they are both older and i still put my money with Savon The best Cuban Boxer EVER!

  • he looks like a more muscled out jango fett and has same accent, he must be a clone trooper whos just hit the gym more often.

  • @RenegadeOfSociety Your a NERD!

  • @FaVonA275 it was a point which just had to be said lol

by the way, i agree with your other comments, Rugby is top bollocks, footy is for nancys

  • I like Tua's style of fighting, he owned Friday and Fridays manager cracks me up lol he looks like a pro wrestlers manager! Bloodworth looks like he's got an iron chin or jaw or nose or something lol

  • i wish he would kill all u mma pussies shut up muay thai and jiujitsu chumps up it simple avoid takedowns you will make a jiujitsu expert a bitch i promise what u mma pussies dont see is that tua doesn't need ground game or elbows or cheezy leg kicks he one punch thats it

  • haha davids a cool guy man

  • david tua. a great person

  • friday seems to be a nice humble man n i like that. His trainer on the other hand needs to be strapped up n ready to jump inda ring with Tua n get his contract tuaminated hahaha woda laugh that'l be.

  • @ALshow1989

What about Tommy Morrison, or Joe Frazier?

    Those r good hooks man.

  • hahaha nice Vaea. I'll work for free if they need anyone to rub suntan lotion on them hotties hahahaha

  • @bombertheelephant bitch nigga!

  • @SamoansTeenManWhores halfwit. Brain much? guess not. You lose you arse-licking failure.

  • i believe that tua would be a great challenge against my favorite fighter mike tyson. only because his skills are good enough and he can take a punch and can definately give. tua and tyson are the shit! my top 2 favorites

  • Tyson vs Tua would have been a great war.

  • David tua is the next frazier :)

  • he's no frazier. he's DAVID TUA. in a class of his own.

  • @mike131box

i dunno.. one thing is hes the shit :D

  • agreed. haha

  • shit..garcia tags him good with a jab at 7sec. tua eats it.

  • you cameron supporters dont quit

  • Tua has the strongest left hook

  • headbutt and holding tactics?? lol tyson was known for elbowing, hitting on the break & after the bell, & while opponents where down, not 2 mention trying 2 break opponents arms when he was losing! holyfield beat him coz he was the better fighter on the night

my money would be on the holyfield who beat bowe, beat foreman, beat douglas, not the tyson who looked great against mediocre fighters he could intimidate but always struggled (or lost) against guys who stood up to him & attacked him

  • tyson didnt fight medioncre fighters. he fought fighters that were good but now known. because at that time the heavyweights werent very popular. until he came around. i can give you names of fighters that were really good before he started going down hill. his prime was between 85- 90

  • richie giachetti was a better trainer than rooney, so was tommy brooks

there are several reasons why tyson went downhill & it has little 2 do with firing rooney.the fact he fired rooney in its self should tell u that!

tyson always had weak character, so despite his physical gifts, that weak character was bound 2 get exposed in the ring sooner or later

& tyson was 1 dimensional,he couldnt adapt his style like holyfield or ali or foreman, which is why he didnt have a long career at the top

  • tyson in 1988 would beat the holyfield that turned heavyweight after the braxton fight but that was the only time tyson had a good chance to beat holyfield who hadn't juiced up yet but was in the process.I believe tyson would turn it into a war and that holyfield wasn't well rounded yet.Tyson needed to follow the damato style and Damato,Atlas and Rooney were all the best for this particular style. The others were shit for his unique peekaboo style.

  • @fadethetrade i believe both holyfield AND tyson took steroids during thier careers, theres no conclusive proof either way, but there has always been talk of tyson being on steroids as well as holyfield- so it wouldve been a fair fight since they were both juicing lol

but i agree with u, when holyfield 1st moved up 2 heavyweight tyson wouldve probably overwhelmed him, but holyfield reached his peak 2 or 3 years later, that holyfield wouldve beaten tyson, in my opinion

  • I believe we missed a great ali/frazier like battle with tyson/holy in 92 ,if it happenned!Even ferdie pacheco said this.Tyson still had enough in technique ,speed and power and timing and holy didnt have the head butt holding tactics yet so it would have been pure war mentality and holy was still not well rooted enough yet in 92.His juicing was in full force.Tyson didnt need to juice up between 85-88.I would still put my money on mike against the same holy who almost got ko'd by Cooper.

  • dmato died & tyson fired rooney- so what? all fighters change trainers & lose loved ones, they dont use that as an excuse 4 thier losses!

is tysons memory so bad that he forgot everything he was taught as soon as he left rooney? if tysons skills deteriorated it was his own fault & nobody elses, just like its tuas fault 4 being overweight

rooney wasnt a great trainer anyway, what other good fighters has he had?? dmato had torres patterson & tyson, & rooney only had tyson coz of cus!

  • @HatmanTV dumbass.

  • @michaelowensvr

ur a faggot who knows nothing about boxing

either gain some knowledge or shut the fuck up

  • who is he sparring with?

  • In this video, Tua proves he is good puncher, he has got power punching, though if you have a look in his defense, it is very vulnerable and i wouldn´t like Tua would lose by points of this way.

I hope Tua knocks Friday out soon, and we can see Tua fighting for a world championship again.

  • I already got my ticket for the friday fight on march 31

  • @vaea46

tua with tysons speed? he would be unstoppable! coz tua has more heart & better stamina than tyson ever had, also a better work rate & chin...

tysons thing was tremendous foot speed & mobility, which tua dont have, but if he drops some weight he could at least improve that aspect of his game

    go tua!

  • @HatmanTV tyson in 1986 was a better fighter then any year tua.Tua had problems with fighters tyson would have taken apart especially the tall boxers.

  • @fadethetrade

i didnt say tua was a better fighter,i said tua could do things that tyson couldnt...tyson was faster & more dynamic yes, but tua has better stamina than tyson ever had, better work rate & more heart.. in tysons whole career he only scored 1 ko past the 7th round, thats despite going past the 7th 9 times

tysons power would fade in fights, if u get past the 7th with a prime tyson he aint gonna knock u out, where as tua has scored numerous late round ko's

    different fighters

  • I'm saying Tua's a better fighter! ;)

  • @HatmanTV When most people remember tyson, they judge him as a whole areer and those 3 loses always fade our memories of when he truly did fight differently in 1986 then any year after. He was a total fighter who outpointed good boxers as good as douglas. Tua lacks a boxers ability to box with tall boxers.Tyson learned how to jab with jabbers.Tua didn't have a better jab then tyson from 86 and that gave tyson the advantage against boxers.tyson after 88,all bets are off.

  • @HatmanTV the tony tucker that faced tyson could have easily outpointed Tua.

  • @HatmanTV the tucker that ko'd douglas could easily outpoint tua.Tillis, the day he took tyson 10 rounds could have easily outpointed tua.The razor Ruddock that hit tyuson with 19 rounds of left smashes could have stopped Tua,He would have landed that smash all night on tua.

  • i agree that tucker couldve outpointed tua, but tua wouldve beaten tillis & ruddock ruddock was floored badly by an over the hill boncrusher smith,& stopped by journeyman david jaco b4 the tyson fight-yet somehow u think he would ko tua? no way! tua went toe 2 toe with ike ibeabuchi, who was way better than ruddock, they set a record for most punches ever thrown in a 12 round heavyweight fight that night!

Infact ibeabuchi was better than anyone tyson ever beat,& i would picked him 2 beat tyson

  • @fadethetrade tyson does better against tall boxers than tua, tucker would beat tua, but tua does better against guys who stand and fight- tua wouldnt have been stopped by douglas or holyfield, he might not have beaten them, but he wouldnt have been stopped, & tua would destroy ruddock, ruddock is taylor made 4 tua, stands right infront of u, dont use a jab, gets tired early, throws big swings, no way on earth razor could beat tua, tua would ko him

  • tyson wouldn't get ko'd by douglas ,lewis, or holyfield had it been a 1986 tyson.

  • when he fought holyfield, holyfield was more past his best than tyson was so u cant use tyson being past his best as an excuse

also bare in mind tyson & holyfield sparred in the olympic trials, tyson was 20lbs heavier than holyfield at that time (holyfield was a light heavyweight then & was only 6feet tall at the time) yet holyfield gave as good as he got despite giving away so much in size

in my opinion i think holyfield always had tysons number,he wouldve beaten him in his prime

  • tyson was created with a science of boxing. He never reached his full potential as a damato style.Had he done that,he would be much better overall then Tua.Tua was too crude, not enough science to his style. His chin saved him from losing 10 times.

  • @fadethetrade i think tyson was better overall than tua, at his peak, because he was faster on his feet & able 2 get inside very quick

BUT as i keep saying, tua had certain strengths tyson didnt have, so he wouldve done better against some of the guys who beat tyson or gave him trouble

tua didnt just have a better chin, he also had more heart, better stamina & workrate (he was in 2 fights which broke the all time record 4 punches thrown)

but due 2 his slow feet he can be outboxed

  • @fadethetrade & as far as tyson not reaching his potential- niether did tua! tuas been overweight 4 most of his career!

lewis fought a washed up tyson, so i cant say if lewis wouldve been able 2 handle a prime tyson

but douglas (who was 29 at the time with several losses) beat a 23yr old undefeated tyson, & holyfield (who was 34 coming back from a ko loss 2 bowe & a heart scare) beat a 30yr old tyson who was world champion with only 1 loss

so we cant make excuses 4 tyson

  • but 2 be fair,4 all i know tua may have other sparring partners who do move, they just didnt show them in this video, but 4 me personaly id like 2 see him spar a guy who moves so i can feel more confident that tua is prepared

but the weight gain there is no excuse 4,he shouldnt be blowing up like that between fights, especially at his age,i know he loves burger king (dont we all?? lol) but he needs 2 have the dicipline 2 stay away,so when his next fight comes he doesnt have 2 lose so much weight

  • & as for tuas weight, the guy is 5'10", there is no reason at all 4 him to weigh more than 230lbs for any fight, regardless the opponent

when he fought ruiz he was around 225 i believe & still had the foot speed 2 leap in & catch ruiz from the outside with a terrific left hook

& he needs 2 stop balooning up between fights

i say all this because i want tua to be champion,he's the most exiting heavyweight since tyson, & this is his last chance so he has 2 do things the right way this time

  • @vaea46

the reason i say that is because tua has always had trouble with guys who know how 2 move & box at long range, even in some fights he's won he's been getting outboxed & is behind on the cards before managing 2 pull out a win very late on, so in this comeback i'd like 2 see him doing more 2 rectify that problem

im not sure if ahunanya is dumb enough 2 go 2 toe with tua or lay on the ropes like he did with cameron, i suspect he will move alot & use the jab

  • Tua looks like he's got a good sparring partner. That helps immensely with preparation.

  • friday for the win!

    friiiiiidaaaaaay!

  • POWER!!

  • the power & hand speed is still there, clearly! would like 2 see him sparring guys who moves more though, coz nobody is gonna stand infront of him & go toe 2 toe (this guy only survived coz of the big 18oz gloves & facesaver head gear) he needs more practice against guys who move, coz thats what most his opponents are likely 2 do, & the klitschkos, & even ahunanya have better movement & ring inteligence than shame cameron lol

so he needs 2 drop down to 230 at the most & work on movement

  • He should fight James Toney. James says he's the best and he dont have anyone to fight same as Tua

  • Tua is gonna kill someone this time for sure

  • WIN

  • go hard TUA, its good seeing a powerful right hand too

  • World Champ... if they stop running.

  • Oka oka mamafa tele lima o le tamaloa! All the way uso!

  • pity him and mike tyson didnt get it on that would ve been my dream fight of the century

  • Tua KO first round. Seriously.

  • awesome can't wait, this is gonna be such a great fight, but its gonna be harder than his last fight as well,

  • looks quite impressive in sparring, glad to see that...his handlers are obviously happy with him too, which is why they invited the media 2 film it

still got the power, plus come decent speed & nice movement, by the time he's in fighting shape he should be pretty formidable

  • cant wait
