In fact, the audience doesn't usually have such a middle-aged woman. Why did BBC(or CNN) make always such an false/operated image? its cultural racism.
It was interesting to learn that girl wrestling was actually first introduced to Japan by a team of American girl wrestlers, doing a global vaudeville circuit as I remember, back in 1919 shortly after the Great War...but it never really caught on at all until about the 1950s. And it has been with them ever since.
Just as in the ECW, WWE, NWA and other pro wrestling organizations, the members have to have great physical conditioning to keep from accidentally getting hurt while performing their acts. I still remember Fabulous Moolah, and The Farmer's Daughter, from the 50's and 60's. Only the costumes have changed.
Super phreaky mamasans! No wonder Japanese women, who are always expected to be docile, submissive, and hyperfeminine, dig these ladies. They express, at major risk to their own limbs, the suppressed side of Japanese womanhood.
I've never heard of Hayashi... I guess she quit pretty soon after her debut. Nice to see Hirota there!

some of the translations are off, just the liberal media trying to change the viewpoints to their liking, fucking cultural racism
