Io la uso da 2 anni e non l'ho mai svuotata fuori casa, ho sempre apsettato di tornare. A volte la tengo dalla mattina fino alla sera e non ho alcun problema, ma è tutto soggettivo ovviamente.

il consiglio è di comprarla e trovare da sola il tuo sistema.

Io non tornerò mai più indietro!

@ToxicSally92 si può lasciare all'interno per 12 ore, ma ovviamente va cambiata, come un tampone normale, ogni volta che ce ne è bisogno. I primi giorni è bene cambiarla ogni 2-3 ore, proprio come un tampone. Per urinare non è un problema: è inserita nella vagina (come anche un tampone), mentre la pipì esce dall'uretra, che è un buchino molto più piccolo al di sopra dell'entrata della vagina. Quindi non è un problema fare la pipì, il sangue e la pipì vengono fuori da due buchi diversi.

Davvero, sembra di non aver indosso niente, è incredibile (non sto facendo pubblicità, anche io ero un po' titubante prima di provarla, ma mi sono dovuta ricredere su tutto!). Poi, la coppa rimane in sede principalmente grazie al "sottovuoto" che lei crea, quindi puoi spingere quanto vuoi ma non uscirà mai dalla vagina! infatti per toglierla devi premerla per farle entrare l'aria. Puoi anche fare la cacca mentre la indossi!

Infatti nelle fibre di rayon e cotone i batteri vivono e si riproducono benissimo (anche lo stafilococco aureo, il responsabile della TSS), mentre su una superficie di silicone come quella delle mooncup no. Faccio medicina, uso la mooncup e quindi parlo per esperienza, non per sentito dire.

Ho comprato la mooncup ieri. Ho iniziato subito a usarla, ancora non sono molto pratica ma la trovo fantastica, soprattutto per l'ambiente.

Se qualcuna è interessata si può comprare anche nei supermercati Natura sì (36 e.) - c'è anche il sito dove trovate anche i numeri di telefono, così potete telefonare a quello più vicino per sentire se effettivamente ce l'hanno (ricordate di chiedere A o B). Spero che la useranno sempre più donne!

@scruccy CIAO! Ti posso rispondere io! La sto utilizzando da 3mesi ormai! Non ci sono assolutamente problemi per estrarla perchè non va introdotta così in profondità come un assorbente interno! Va messa praticamente all'inizio del condotto! Per espellerla basta usare i muscoli vaginali, devi praticamente spingerla in fuori e poi estrarla non appena senti la fine della coppetta! Spero di esserti stata utile! :-)

Uso la mooncup da molti mesi e, sinceramente, non rimpiango in nessun modo ed in alcun momento gli altri metodi usa e getta!

E' naturale che all'inizio si debba fare un po' di pratica, ma io ho risolto "allenandomi" durante il mese, fuori dai miei "giorni di Luna" ;-)

Ho notano che non è necessario spingerla in alto, è stato sufficiente tagliare lo stelo poco alla volta fino a trovare la lunghezza ottimale, così non la sento nemmeno più...

non ti preoccupare: quando la devi togliere, che la sfiati, non mollare la presa, altrimenti va sottovuoto. devi premere il bordo e, spingendo leggermente con i muscoli interni, la tiri fuori. magari taglia un po il gambo, così non devi spingerla trtroppo su. inoltre, mentre la inserisci, ruota leggermente la coppetta, così che aderisce bene alle pareti. se hai bisogno di altri conisgli contattami pure. ciao

non è che devi tenerti al mooncup 10 giorni, la svuoti, e la rimetti (dopo averla pulita con un pò di acqua e sapone o delle salviettine intime) come faresti con un assorbente interno, con la differenza che la mooncup è ecologica, igienica e riutilizzabile. Il silicone con cui è prodotta è specifico per evitare la proliferazione del principalòe batterio causa della sindrome da shock tossico..... I'm just trying to understand why it's so messy to some people, compared to other products. I don't think *any* product can guarantee they won't make a mess. However, some can help lessen the mess and I am sure that's why some are attracted to alternatives like the cup.

Also, some women who use the cups, don't empty out in the public sink. They just dump it down the toilet and wipe the cup clean with toilet paper or a moist towelette they bring in with them. No worries then.

LOL! No it doesn't happen! The only thing is that you have to see your blood as a fluid instead of just spots on pads. In a public toilet you can wash it with wet wipes or you can take a small bottle with you. You have to wash the cup and to sterylize it after and before every period. Actually it's much much cleaner than pads!

I would suggest you try tampons. They are the cleanest, easiest way to go. You'll never have to see any blood and it doesn't feel like you have your period.

Doesnt the cup put a little pressure on the vaginal walls? If it does isnt this dangerous, as the pressure put on the walls can lead to necrosis (death of the vaginal walls) and cause a hole to form in the wall known as a fistula? Just wondering.

a vagina produces only 5-6 table spoons of blood per menstrual cycle, so that makes one or two small spoons per day...and the cup could contain at least a table spoon. at the beginning, when the flow is heavy, you just empty it more often.

it won't spill, because it creates vacuum, and the top edge is thicker and round, so the fluids naturally fall in the cup.

if u don't trust it at the beginning, u can use a small pad, but u'll see that nothing comes out...
