I started watching the Gilmore Girls in Europe. Then I moved the U.S.A. and I noticed something... The series is filmed and broadcast in NTSC then, it is sped-up by 4% for PAL broadcast in Europe.
The audio is really noticable - the pitch of the actors voices, the theme song etc.
If you buy the DVD, make sure you buy the NTSC version (get a multi region dvd player too!). So much better to hear it at the correct speed/pitch!
