It's because a lot of people don't like them as a couple so the writers are trying to please the larger part of the audience I guess. I do like them as a couple though. I also don't hate Izzie and Alex though. I know, that's weird of me but it's just how I feel. I guess it's because I know that no matter what, Izzie and George will always be best friends at least.
