hi, flapjack2007! i've been to miller's show. he is quite erudite and he is funny (though i don't care for profanity). to me, though, true comedic genius is measured by tear-filled eyes and hurting gut syndrome that overtakes the room. check out rickles (and also the great foster brooks) on dean martin's famed NBC comedy roasts on youtube. no pay tv in the 60s - they had to keep it clean! and to bring down a house under those conditions - your comedy had to be genius. Thanks for sharing this, flapjack! I used to watch DML with my dad when I was a kid (I was 11 years old when I starting watching way back in 1994).

Miller is so hillarious, and this was the first thing I knew him from - I didn't discover he was on SNL until mid-1996, when I saw him in a rerun on Comedy Central.

I've seen Miller twice in person, and he's hillarious. I'm actually surprised Miller didn't have Rickel's theme song playing when he walked out at the beginning of his interview.
