is the show like based off a book? i always thought thats just a thing nick did to get money (making books based off TV showes, they always do that -.-) i always watch this show, but i get made when everyone says that third season is the best. like come on! the season Toph came in was awesome! so much stuff happend! like Aang almost dieing!and Azula coming and taking over Ba Sing Say. Or when Toph met Iroh, and when Sokka ate a cactus -.- no ever thinks of that stuff

some of these episodes on the comercial i have already seen through internet, like the dancing dragon and escape from the prison are they parts of the new episodes or are there new new episodes. and after this comet episode happens is avatar over ?

they're showing 5 episodes the week of July 14 but you've probably already seen 2 or 3 of them as they've been on the net for a while. The writer's strike kind of messed of the original plan of having 4 seasons (one for each element) so they made a plan B of finishing of the series with only 3 seasons. But now that the strike has settled down maybe they'll go back to 4?

No, I don't think. The series started with Aang already knowing how to airbend so there wouldn't be an entire season devoted to that (unless it was a prequel). The only way I see there being a 4th season is if not everything gets resolved in the finale or it like an aftermath sort of thing.
