Reminds me of those Sega Cd, 3DO interactive Movie/Video games from the early 90's. Imagine that Universal was making games back then, imagine one based on the ride, would have been a hit game that we would still talk about today.

No it is not. It is owned by Fox, which is a NBC competitor. Universal (NBC) and Fox signed a contract with each other which allow's Universal to use simpson's character's in their parks.

I really wonder if the entire ride experience could be recreated on a park simulator.

This is one of those rides that should be preserved as a classic. I was upset to hear that they closed it down.

I put the different pictures (steering wheel, flux capacitor, time circuits, etc.) together as one whole picture on PowerPoint. For the time circuits, I put in the different times with Paint and saved them as separate pictures, triggered by certain events of the ride. Then I finally put in the movies of the ride.

It was seriously complicated.
