I don't think it unreasonable to say though that some immigrants have abused the system and give others a bad name. I watched this edition of QT and the problem was it was made all about Nick Griffin and the BNP. If they'd talked about the issues of the day then the show would have exposed the BNP's policies as being completely unworkable and ridiculous. Their claim must be processed which can take months and years with appeals. If their claims are bogus surely that makes them a bogus asylum seeker but you cannot know that immediately.
I suspect the BNP is highlighting the many who claim asylum but make bogus claims. The statistics show that even when their claims are rejected they are not necessarily deported.

I don't think it unreasonable to say though that some immigrants have abused the system and give others a bad name. it's pathetic and shameful how the panel ganged up on him. Democracy is all about divergences in opinion. From 1:24, when griffin actually answers the question, he makes a very good point, and the woman at the end is just an idiot. Plenty of people come to britain guided by the media's depiction of western society as luxury, and have no reason to leave their own country other than because they want the quick fix. Those are bogus asylum seekers. This video reflects very well on Griffin, i think.

We are overpopulated, in fact we're more densely populated that China which has population controls in place - such as one child per-family rule.
Perhaps these people should actually READ what the BNP says about immigration, rather than just asserting the assumption that they (the BNP) wish to deport all non-whites.

I don't agree with the BNP, but that Question Time was a farce. The co-panellists and the audience just twisted Nick Griffins answers to fit their own twisted views of the BNP.
Don't believe it if you wish, but the fact is 84% of the public DID worry about immigration, and still do.
Out of 416 calls in response to Question Time: 114 complaining about Griffin being allowed to appear and 243 were complaining of bias against Griffin. This is a good demonstration of that Bias.

I watched this edition of QT and the problem was it was made all about Nick Griffin and the BNP. If they'd talked about the issues of the day then the show would have exposed the BNP's policies as being completely unworkable and ridiculous. As it was it just ended up as the Nick Griffin show with him getting pilloried for 50 minutes. It was entertaining, but it could've been so much more.

I hate what his party stands for, However, no, wait a minute, allow me a chance for a comment, It's a free speech country. They did stack the audience and the panel with left and centre wing voters or reps. One thing I and you should agree with; all, repeat, all immigration must stop now. Why? If you have to ask that, then you are blind to the fact that there is 20% unemployment for youths and there isn't any jobs out there for any further rise in the population.

My position is centre right (Conservative), Nick Griffin is a facist party, he is a right wing extremist but still!! Even UKIP (Far right) are against Nick Griffin but I feel that this episode of QT shouldn't be allowed! Remember that there were 2.5% of the British who voted BNP if my maths is right! They simply filled up the audience full of left wingers - simple!

Shame that when the socialists go on strike later this week i.e the boarder control officals and officer guards at customs in airports will strike - this will allow more immigrants in and yet civil servants will have to take their job!? - They wouldn't know what to do!! I mean we are a soft touch! You go to America you now have to have to buy a visa even if you are on holiday that $15 dollars goes to Obama!
