The 2009 BMW X6 (V8) has a factory claimed 0-60 mph time of 5.4 seconds.

Sounds like a dead heat to me. Personally I think the X6 is a grocery getting soccer mom mobile. The G55 is badass with an offroad pedigree that's second to none.

2009 BMW X6 weighs in at just a hair away from 5000 lbs (about 4894 lb, to be exact) making it one of the heaviest utes. The X6 can perhaps compete with a FX50but it would be immpossible to beat a 2008/2009 G55. I test drove the x6 before i bought my G.. and i admit its a fast but nowhere near as fast as a G55 on a straight line.. my guess is 1. the driver sucks, or 2.its either an older model G55 (they all look the same) or a G500.

You probably noticed there arnt many racing videosof the G55, thats because its not a race car.. it packs ALOT of power but corners like a bus.. the x6 on the other hand is an SAV (Sport activity vehicle) aka soccer moms car.
