  • It should read ARRL, for Amateur Radio Relay League.

  • hahahaha

  • she is 5 and 9,all the female radio ham in the uk are like men,am off to the usa.

  • HAMs are supposed to provide emergency communication services. There is no need to set up such a network as described in this video. The political affiliation of a HAM radio operator should not matter during a crisis.

  • how many watt's did he push

  • @ 4:34, The site should read, arrl.org. Not aarl.org

    Best regards

    Jeff

    Amateur call K1JWM

  • Ah, yes, citizen's band radio. The perfect example of life without government regulation. K_9___

  • @newdarnaccount

CB is entirely different than Ham radio. Just listen to the ignorant bilge spewed on 11 Meters compared to the technical know-how needed to keep a worldwide HF station running.

  • She was sort of hot, until she opened her mouth.

  • If someone is willing to send schematics, I'll build my own. I too, am a "Free Stater" and my planned move next year has been moved from feb. to dec. for financial reasons.

  • Many in NH have "Ham" radio

  • It seems like few Free Staters would have HAM licenses as they are govt. issued. There are likely several who might have the hardware but no govt. piece of paper...

  • Piss on the piece of gov. paper. If you lose your wallet with your operators license in it did you also lose your driving skills? Same with ham radio, ohms law still functions in the universe without your papers being in order.

  • I used to be KF4TQQ but my novice permit expired long ago. I concur that Ham radio is an important tool. New technology is great, but it's dumb to rely on it completely. However, many of the rules regulating Ham radio would go out the window in the case of a major breakdown, so freedom lovers really need a more streamlined version 2 way radio education. Hope to hear more about and eventually be involved in this movement.

  • Smart.

  • thank you so much for this, Dave! :O) You rock!

  • I think this is a great idea.

  • I want to be a HAM! I took a class to be a HAM but did not finish the class or take the test.

This is a great idea! Riddly, and others should get a reciver to moniter HAM.
