AWWW hes kinda scary but cute! Hopefully he will get his pretty feathers back and he will get adopted to a nice wonderful family that cares for him :D
He sure shows his love for life! I am a sucker for a happy 'too. I have a 12 yr old umbrella who is fully feathered, and a 40+ Molly who is a total plucker...but we love him just the same. He came to us as a plucker...never got over his owner's death, and plucked so long his follicles stopped producing feathers...and he loves to be videoed and fussed over...somehow they just KNOW when to turn on the charm for the camera, don't they?
OOOH!! I'm head over heels in LOVE! This sweet, darling boy is one true gem! He has sunshine in his soul! He's just happy to be out and entertaining someone! This bird is worth his weight in gold......Trust me! I'm a cockatoo 'junky' and I can see that he is a diamond in the rough. Beautiful, beautiful boy!
I heard somewhere that some plucking behaviour is due to pesticides used on crops that eventually become parrot food. Could an organic diet help your birds? You guys do awesome work. Best of luck to Cooper and all you guys.
Most of the birds we get in are plucked due to neglect, diet ,abuse or health.Fruit and veggies from Chili have pesticides that are hard to get off. We use USA food and all our birds are on a premium pellet diets. Thanks, please subscribe for updates.
