I've been trying to find gold city's version of I'll have a new life for ages! And I did a search today and found this video. And the song is at 5:32! Awesome a flat 1 by tim at the end of that part!
the funniest part of this might be the line "i don't wanna sing soprano i don't wanna sing like sandy patty" i don't even wanna know how many times i've thought that and i sing tenor
I just heard this on the radio this morning and I've been searching all afternoon. I knew I would find it SOMEWHERE on the Internet. Thanks for uploading it!
I heard this song on the radio some time ago and I LOVED it. I'm sooo glad that they made a video for this song. I laugh every time I watch it. Being a bass singer myself and the son of one of the lowest bass singers I know, I can really appreciate this song. Tim and Christian are really good basses and this makes me think of all the times I tried to sing bass against my Dad. Whenever I watch this, I put myself in Christian's place and my Dad in Tim's. The results would be the same. Thank You.
@herschelzboy You are most welcome, and I agree they are two great bass singers and I also like Sandy Patti . I am back on the radio local and I used this song on my program as well and people love it. Thank you and God bless you for watching .
I think Tim could hit a double low C if he wanted to. Ive seen them in concert several times and he hit the F below low C effortlessly. I don't think the trip to The C1 would be hard for him at all. And i think Christian is hitting it in full voice. He has an incredible range.
I don't know what any of this means, but it sounds cool, lol. Can't believe the little guy - he's smaller than me - can sing so low in his belly! I think of Christian (aka Pee Wee) as a young, deeper George Younce (another bass of slight build - for bass).
Thank you, it is great... I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it, I didn't understand it from the first time, but I realised after that they are the true singers of both quartets not just actors with their voices
Thats Bev Lowry (Mark Lowry's Mom)

I love this video! It's great! Though I do think Christian could have sang that note quite easily if he really wanted to. ;-)

I think Christian does better than Tim. Maybe it's because his voice is clearer, but I like him better.
