  • This is ingenious! Do you sell these? How much? Do you have trouble with them dumping on side hills (twist in mechanism)? How much cargo do you think it will lift? Is the box strong enough without a frame running lenthwise?

    Thank you!

  • @Bischc Yes, I custom make these to fit the year, make and model trucks you have, if it's one that can be dumped. No dump trucks should be operated on side hills because the center of gravity with a load could cause a tip over. The mechanism has a patented torsion tube to keep the bed level if the load is offset.

Ford dump kit hoists will lift 3700 pounds at the start, then go up to 4500lbs. when the bed reaches 20 degrees. Nobody has complained about the Ford kits functions or capacity yet.

  • Transformers

    Lol

  • I love how many people are talking shit about this... and fox, your a fucking furry... your life is an insult LOL

  • very cool but why didnt you make it open 90 degrees?

  • @aaaaariiiiielllll Because that would've required cutting the trucks rear cross member for a longer scissor hoist, plus the longer the scissor, the less weight it can pick up. This scissor capacity is 3,700lbs. in it's closed position. As it opens it gains mechanical advantage for a peak load of 4500lbs. when the bed is at 20 degrees.

  • whats the point , it's not like your going to put anythin in the back of that prissy truck anyway

  • @Foxontherun2 what's the point posting a stupid comment on my 3yr old video? This is reality, go play with your cartoons.

  • @Foxontherun2 He can put the things he bought from the mall back there. That's all these guys do with these trucks anyway... go to the mall.

  • sick man,

would be perfect for firewood service

    start selling them, make bank

    cheers

  • ford are the best!

  • i want one

  • hydralic lift.. some tubing.. some heavy duty hinges.. easy..

  • @Otaybay except there isn't any tubing and it isn't easy or you'd have one on your truck.

  • @StealthDumpTrucks

Looks like a project meant for a diy work truck for the house I want one so bad

  • @StealthDumpTrucks LOL NICE!

  • do you make one for a 1988 f-250? i have the dual tanks to

  • @KJ4TEE ...sorry, not yet, all it takes is a prototype truck and money.

  • @StealthDumpTrucks I have the truck if you got the money

  • 200 bucks says dirt has never touched that bed and prolly never will

  • @bassaddict1231 hahah i agree and I know my truck sure as hell has I haul cow shit its a temp job but it pays the bills

  • @KJ4TEE ive hauled chicken shit with mine and for the people that aint use to that smell sure get a good whiff of it goin down the highway but thatd sure come in handy

  • @bassaddict1231 how did the chicken shit smell come in handy hahah?

  • @KJ4TEE no the dump bed kit but that smell prolly made a couple cops not want to pull me over

  • @bassaddict1231 LMFAO well thats one way to keep the cops from pulling you over hahah

  • That is fucking awesome!

  • Man I could use that for unloading hay and firewood for sure! Now if I could figure an easy way to load itself I would be set..how much would that cost lol! Nice product..

  • That's the most beautiful truck I've ever seen. I got to know how I can get my F-350 a dump kit.

  • not a ford guy but got damn thats pretty!

  • thas pretty cool but i doubt thats going to be a work truck lol, but damn i wish i had that truck

  • thats actually really cool

  • its a nice system, not a toy; out of curiosity, what would I use it for on a work truck?

  • What is your profession? Some of the things I use it for are remodeling debris, trash, rock, stone, sand, fill, topsoil, mulch, tree work, and firewood.

  • I work for an epoxy flooring company, i couldnt use it in my business but it looks like a great system.

  • The best feature of the system is it's there when you need it.

  • Wow, I'm impress that you you that beautiful truck for work, Most of people that buys big trucks half of them won't even wan't to put some mud onto it or anywhing in the trunk. well if you use it for work, congratulations its damn clean!

  • Pretty neat concept, with only ONE major drawback/problem... For $3,250+ I can buy either a dump trailer, or a complete used dump truck in decent usable condition. Each will carry more and be more useful than a pickup truck bed dump, which don't hold up well to being used like dump trucks at all. I know it's sad, but true. These kits are more for guys that like "toys" and have lots of extra money. Kudos for them. Wish I could afford something like this, just for grins. Oh well.

  • Let me know when you buy either dump trailer or well used dump truck. How many years will I need to hold my breath? We don't make toys here, these kits are designed for work and based on all our competitors failures. My customers aren't calling me to complain or express grief over the "sad but true" state of their truck beds. I've owned a dumping pick-up since 1985, used in a business daily. Everything but the dump kit and bed wore out. That's Chevy for ya.

  • PS...while you're in critic mode, run around the web and youtube to find a dump kit better than this one. Make sure they have 14 grease fittings (which is more than your truck has) to maintain the system. A 36 month warranty would be nice too.

  • @superturbodiesel btw, $3250 is the price for the dump truck, keep in mind there is increased maintenance costs on a bigger truck, increased registration fees, etc., its not just getting a dump truck vs. getting a dump bed installed.

  • superturbodiesel should go step on Ford, GM, and Dodge truck videos. Say "only ONE drawback, the pick-ups don't dump. I'll have to buy a kit from good 'ol Stealth, gimme a discount"

  • how much for this usually ?

  • It's around $3250 for Ford kits, freight included, options extra.

  • Man, thats sweet. i want that on my truck Santa.lol

  • THATS BADASS!! you can dump 4000? sweet.

that makes getting rid of trash easier haha

  • nice..how much and where at?

  • one dollar

  • Ohh ya dont have the limit switch on it,just kidding I don't have it ether, mines the northern kit when it was $846.00.!?

  • ...that was their price about four years ago.

  • Yeh I guess its that long now since I put it on.

  • DUDE

    i want one

  • Rangertrav

  • for those damn unwanted tail gaters haha!

  • do u have one for an 86 f-159 reg, if u do how much will it dump?

  • F-150 kit dumps 4,000 pounds.

  • um... you wouldn't happen to have one for an '89 f-250 coustom reg. cab long bed would you?

  • Sure do, and it costs half the price of the newer ones. See me at dumpkit-dot-com

  • cool thanks. i'll be looking into that.

  • my friend has one of those on his 1978 chevy custom deluxe

  • those things are sick

i bought a chevy truck with one

the owner didnt even know he had it haha

  • thats so badass...i want one even tho id prob nvr use it...u make em for rams?

  • I'm working on the 02-up Dodge first, got a 3500 quad cab in the shop now.

  • how much do they cost?

  • Ford kits cost $3250

  • i'd get one, but i need a new tranny first... and thats about a new tranny right there...

  • nice truck dude that is kool

  • nice truck dude. great idea too

  • that would be nice for moveing a girlfriend out

  • lol good idea

  • is that electric or driven off a PTO from the transfer case?

  • ...all electric. Can dump with the engine off.

  • Nice truck nice system, but wouldn't the hydraulic method work a bit better, but then again the electronics might cost less and need less maintanence, so yeah I kinda' just answered my own question, but please correct me if I am mistaking in anyway.

  • It's an electric hydraulic pump. Costs less, tastes great.

  • Now how much weight will that cylinder pick up?

  • 3,700lbs. closed, 4,500 as soon as it gets the load moving. Got another hoist that does 4,900 lbs. closed.

  • IMmufferfuckingPRESIVE

  • damn thats pretty kool

  • Now you can drop off them drunk friends without even gettin out just back to front door and dump em hahaha clean ass truck

  • sick

  • nice
