I didn't think Heavy Rain looked impressive, the only thing that looked good in that game was the four main characters' faces. Everything else looked pretty ugly, and the animation definitely didn't help either. A game like Killzone 2/3 has great animation and the realistic movement makes everything look that much better, but Heavy Rain didn't have that level of animation.

I don't know about GTA V using motion scan. Rockstar has said that motion would only be used if it was appropriate for the games story and gameplay mechanics like it is in LA Noire! But you never know! I'm excited to see these two new Quantic Dream games though! Pretty ambitious stuff!
