I think that there will be a three gameplay "genres" in RE6. Leon seems to be more survival horror - limited ammo, scary environment. Chris' game will probably be more fast paced and FPS-ish. The unnamed guy (who, I don't think is actually HUNK - the personalities are too different) doesn't seem to have weapons, only his fist. His missions will probably involve running/avoidance (think Clock Tower) and protecting the girl (who I agree may actually be Ashley Graham).

@vegeta9o Raccoon City is going to be more of a squad-shooter - strictly action, for the MW and BF lovers. It's also more of a "Gaiden" game, since it retcons a lot of the history of RE2 and RE3 and allows non-canon actions (killing the heros for instance). 6 will be a direct sequel, and will probably be more similar to 4 and 5, judging by the trailers.

I have been an RE fan since Capcom released Directors Cut Resident Evil with vibrate for Dual Shock controllers; shortly after came Resident Evil 2, and so on...

I have hopes that after the attempts at replacing zombies with parasite invaded towns people aka. Plagueas. There were entirely too many twins in that European village in RE4. I would continue with RE5, but why bother. I will just have high hopes that all the mazes of different ideas will finally renew my love for RE with the release

1) The virus that spread to Tall Oaks clearly isn't Las Plagas (they would have retained their human forms remember, expect they would have lost their minds). Maybe it's the T or G virus? Maybe the Progenitor virus?

2) 1:31 Is this a context-dependent melee action or is this a move that can be done at anytime? Because some of the melee moves seem to be useable at anytime (like the slide move Leon uses).

The viruses themselves are constantly changing so it's impossible to come up with a cure because every new second it's a new virus the only way to cure it would be to isolate the virus it's self and find a way to keep it from transforming which isn't a easy thing to do when it's in a living person so as far as the story has been so far the virus is incurable
